Nice, so you can code PHP web templates?

Never seen PHP used for a template before, but yes, I probably could. Actually, I'd coding a couple of sites as it is now, so I can probably send you links when they're completed, if you wanted to see?

maybe i will, when i have more time. thx for the advice :p

And it may seem simple, but I challenge you to do a table-less layout that works how you want it to ;)

Well, the first programming language I got any real understanding out of would be Macromedia Flash's Actionscript, when I was 12. The first mainstream Language would be C#, and that was this year. But if you want to get technical, I learned microworlds programming back when I was 11, and a little HTML when I was 12.

So I only REALLY know one programming language, with a little knowledge of about 6 others.

Soon I will have a complete knowledge of ALL languages, and you will worship me as though I were a god!!!
Bwahahahaaaa.........*trails off*

Got a little carried away there...I'm still on a hype after finishing Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien.....

Awesome anime.

In high shcool AGES ago i was taking every programming/Computing class that was avaible and we used pascal to do simple code snippets wich was basically a test.. (I managed to code replicating flashing rings wich finally crasged the whole HIGH CLASS 700mhz IBM! Great succes, great success)

I never mastered anything, but HTML is not really a programmin language:
(HTML)
GML (Game Maker Language)
BASIC (dark basic, coolbasic....)
...
...

Well pascal was first i "learned", but GML is the one wich i truly can use without having to see what certain command means when i write something.

GML like in the coding used in game maker programs? :p
i don't know if what you mean is the same as what i'm talking about so i'll include a picture :p

i am using a game maker program but haven't tried to code yet. only took a quick look at it. doesn't look so difficult:p it just has many different things :p
how should i start to learn such a language? just look for a tutorial on the internet? or go to a school? or buy a book?

Yes, Game Maker made by Mark Overmars (Now owned by YoYo Games)

Best way to learn (or how i did it) is to look codes from those example engines since 98% has commented code.:D

E!: RPGMaker XP uses Ruby..

i was suppost to take a class on qbasic this year but i was moved out of it on my third day and moved into c++.

i guess i would say that my first programing language was TI basic. It is what is used on most graphing calculators and it was alot of fun to use because you can program on the fly

First ever was DarkBasic, a 3D game creator thing. I was kinda boggled by it at first. I'm currently learning Java in my AP Computer Science class and on my own a little as well.

Pascal, followed by HTML and C++...Pascal was just an introductory type thing for me...HTML was because I did a lot of the website construction for my schools and my various guilds I was in when I was involved in online gaming, and C++ when I was interested in coding for games.
After becoming anywhere between somewhat proficient to pretty good at any of them, I would get bored and haven't touched any of them since High School...haha. Ah well.

Well, HTML isn't exactly a programming language. I consider it to be a mark-up language.
After HTML I learned CSS and then I tried Java for my education.
I've quit that education and am now doing something totally different. I didn't like Java at all.

Well, I sort of learned BBCode; though, it was merely for forum posts and that. In actual programming terms, the first I got to grips with was HTML. My knowledge of it is still pretty basic but it's the first I've bothered to figure out beyond what's used in forum posts.

The only one I know out of any of them is HTML... but I am a pro at it! I have made a few websites... and even fixed errors in other ppls things just cause I read HTML so well. I really schooled myself on it for a few months because I desired to make my own website so bad. So... thats what I did :D lol... I havent done it in a long time... But I can still read it and make it when i have to... like for MySpace.

The first programming language that I have learned is Turbo C. Its so hard to use since you have to remember the keyboard commands ... to compile ... to run ... to save ... I was so happy when they finally made a gui.... ahh... its so refreshing to use the mouse .. hehehe.... :mayuri:

I'm probably dating myself here, but my first programming language was Pascal, way back. Mind you, I haven't touched Pascal since I taught myself C, using the reference books for Turbo C.

My first programming langauge was Microsoft Visual Basic.
Did my final high school project using visual basic or simply VB. Its very easy to understand and learn, its very straight forward and very vivid. It provides indication of errors per line which is very very nice since it reduces to chances of errors in you program.
I have made several programs using Vb and they have been great and very reliable.

My second programming language was C++ which really gave me a hard time since to located errors the user has to run the compiler for it to check through the entire problem/program then you have to start from top to bottom to locate those things.
But all in all both languages are different but very effective when called upon
