Hey, is your Mozilla Firefox running a bit slow then try this!

1. In the address bar, put in about:config
2. In the “Filter” search bar, put in network.http.pipelining
3. Double-click on the network.http.pipelining and make sure the “Value” turns to true.
4. In the “Filter” search bar, put in network.http.proxy.pipelining
5. Double-click on the network.http.proxy.pipelining and make sure the “Value” turns to true.
6. In the “Filter” search bar, put network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
7. Double-click on network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and put in 150.
8. Right-click anywhere on the page and select New-> Integer, and put in nglayout.initialpaint.delay and on the next screen, set the value to zero.

Basically this makes Firefox send more requests to the server for the page you want to go to, therefore making the web page load a lot faster.

Wouldn't that just end up putting more of a workload on the server though? Since it has to complete each of the requests you send. The only true ways of making it load faster is less strain on the server, and a better connection... Hitting it with more requests simply slows it for someone else..

I know thats why you shouldn't over do it and put like "10000"

But that's fine with few visitors, but if everyone who used this site did it, even at 150, that's a HUGE extra strain on the server.

Consider that one server will often support multiple sites, and if numbers of people do this, even on just the one site, it's gonna cause lag to all of them.

plus if it is running slow, an easier option is to just do a firefox 'flush'. go through and clear out the cache and all of the cookies. that should help abit too (i think). but no, that is good to know assign :D

@enpc clearing the cache makes it slower because you are deleting that data that has been downloaded last time you opened the page in short clearing it slows you/mozilla down but gives you more space!
Sorry for double posting i didn't realize.

though this tool does it's job i guess the other half to make it work would depend on your ISP connection speed and HARDWARE. peace :)
