Final Fantasy XII

Yess, I started FFXII late last year, and I'm happy to say that I am almost done. :D This game totally rocks! The graphics are incomparable, and the storyline is now much more serious, as it is no longer just your run of the mill love story - there are really interesting political undertones to it!

To those who might need a bit of help with the game, maybe I can be of service! :D

hello there dearie!:) i have finished the game last year :D but i didn't enjoy it that much i'm sorry:o it was not that good but not that bad either...

i was like hoping that it would be a whole lot better than it's predecessor the FFX-2 who in my opinion just a fan service (really sorry ffX-2 fans) but compared to it, it's good but not good enough for me...

I was actually expecting that their will be more plot development and so does the characters but i was completely dumbfounded when the game finishes i was like "what?! did i just beat that game?" don't get me wrong i do love the final fantasy series but since final fantasy VII (the main reason why i bought the PS console), final fantasy VIII and final fantasy X i got somewhat frustrated with the successors and i was hoping that they will beat this game releases especially final fantasy VII...

if there is anybody who now had grudge against me because of this feel free to say it.... just kidding:p

i am wondering about the ending though, since i'm close to finishing it, although i've been beating around the bush completing side quests and all that... ;)

i am currently playing Final Fantasy XII, but it seems that it's not as interesting as the previous Final Fantasy games, the graphics are superb and the gameplay is unique, but the storyline seems to be just a bit off, I mean it's only my opinion, maybe since I got used to the traditional Final Fantasy games ( mind you I have played all Final Fantasy games execpt Final Fantasy 11 - guess some may call me a geek hahaha). I aslo agree with Sleepless Beauty about Final Fantasy X-2 that it's just a fan service...

a magazine stated that playing the FFXII will differ from person to person but don't let the critics be your guide... Play the game and then judge it for yourself...:D

hey...i finished final fantasy xii...its after u kill vayne right??? i was so shocked cos it was all over...why cant this be???it should have carried on...is there somewhere u can carry on??? i liked XII coz it was a welcome change. i like the old style battle system but this is new n exitin.
i finnished the game n im now obtaining the Zodiac spear n all the espers. (espers suck!!!)
oh, PLZ no spoilers tho it was kinda obvious that u would fight him.
im all lvl 99 and i do 6000 odd wiv fists alone (god i rule)
any questions, im ur guy

it's true... ESPERS SUCK! i prefer using their Quikenings rarther than calling those annoying espers... :mayuri: :nemu:

how u get that high level??? u saved before u killed Vayne??? cos now the game is over now that i killed him...but i hardly done any side quests...anyone can help me??? do i have to leave the last quest or is there a way to carry on after u kill Vayne???

Yeah i'm an old school FF fan as well. I love being able to see the evolution of Cid's Character through the other FFs (they are totally unrelated in power and character, but nevertheless COOL! :D)

I'm also impressed by the new battle system (gambits) and I want to collect all those dang espers before I finish this thing, but you're right Kenpachi, they suck! ;)

this final fantasy is tactical rpg, meaning you need to strategize carefully to be able to beat the game and as for the gambit system i'm not actually impressed merely due to the fact that you could actually just watch the whole thing without doing much all you need to do is to assign each character (your best character that is:hitsugaya:) with gambits that would actually help you throughout the fight and then it's either you win or loose:hitsugaya:

i guess it's all true, it's a matter of subjective opinion :D I wonder about the next installment for FF for the PS3, I hope they also make another movie for it that will just be as cool as Advent Children.

i've seen a few screenshots for the final fantasy XIII, as usual it has very good graphical quality and i find the story quite interesting, but i'm actually hoping that it would carry on the hype till the end...:p and the protagonist i think is also a female... i hope this is better than the ffX-2 LOLz:p

I finished FF XII a while ago, and it was alright. The storyline was ok, but the character development was a bit thin. Interesting gameplay style... But I still like the traditional line-up. ^_^
I've actually been playing FF: Tactics Advanced on my old GBA SP in my spare time, lol.

FFXIII is coming in three parts ; FF XIII and FF XIII versus on the PS3, and FF XIII <unknown name> on the mobile phone... apparently they're all connected to the same story.

did it say on your source to what country will the FFXIII on mobile phone will come out of and what phone brand? i hope this will not just come out exclusively in Japan...

so square enix is actually doing the same thing as they did with final fantasy VII, which also has a mobile phone game spin off (if my memory serves me right, it was named "Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII - this is actually as the title of the game says, this took place 6 yearsprior to the release of the game and the characters are the TURKS)...

i got it the day it came out and i still haven't played it yet..

the reactions are mixed at best... the FF12 is pretty good in terms of graphics and the gameplay is quite different, so most of the comments are subjective to the user. :D

Never before have I played a game with a plot so thick...I can't help but crave more, but the problem I face at the moment is that when I put the controller down I immediately lose interest. In other words, it's only good for the moment.
