DVD Authoring

Anybody ever tried authoring their Bleach episodes to dvd? I tried once and it didn't work out right, i used tmpeg dvd with divx authoring, the video and audio came out right but the problem is the subs can't be seen properly cause the program cropped the video on the top and bottom (where the subs are) any ideas how to do a proper? I tried re-scaling but the video came out smaller.

I use Nero 7 Ultimate to authorize my bleach episodes onto DVD...but I don't find the usefulness of having it because I just connect my comp to my LCD TV and watch it straight from the comp ^_^

And the video quality can't be beat :p
