I just got my tickets to Projekt Revolution!!!! July 19th in Camden NJ baby! So, I was just wondering what other peoples best concert experiences were.
Back in hm .. probably 02 or 03 I went to see Linkin Park with P.O.D, Hoobastank, and someone else. I have to say it was one of the BEST shows. They all did such an amazing job. My parents were thrilled with the fact that I was going to be in the pit (I was like what ... 14 or 15) but it made the whole thing a million times better! I got kicked in the head by crowd surfers, drenched with alcohol, stared at by some weird dude in a beanie, and whacked in the head with Chesters water bottle. (Hurt SO GOOD)
It was a hard decision too, cause System of a Down puts on an awesome show, and last year I saw Godsmack, Rob Zombie and Shinedown all together .. and they all rocked .. hard. But I guess that just shows how great LP is.

I got hit in the head by a mosh pit surfer x3
I went to see Three Days Grace with Breaking Benjamin, Puddle of Mudd, and Bipolar. It was so wickedly cool. I still have Adam Gontier's water bottle he chucked in the crowd. I was RIGHT up in front too. Mosh pit mayhem. But, it rocked. I would love to go to another concert.

Messed up thing about my water bottle experience ... my best friend Ashley caught the thing as it bounced off my head! She never gave it back to me, she kept it for herself! Still to this day she taunts me with it!

Well actually, the best concert I've been to, wasn't a big event. It was a small 50-100 people audience and it was a battle of the bands. The 2nd last group that played did only 3 songs, but they all made me feel a dozen different emotions, from astonishment to anger and happiness. I believe the band was called Scarlet Fever or something, but their MySpace was very dissappointing.

Best concert I have been to probably would have to be Memphis in May. It's an annual festival held in Memphis, TN (US) and it features almost every kind of music there is. From Rock (LP, Velvet Revolver...) to Rap (Three 6 Mafia, 50 Cent...) It's a 3 day non-stop music fest. I guess if you had to compare it so something then it would be similar to Ozzfest or Woodstock :)

That sounds awesome! They are trying to put on this three day concert about five minutes from where I live, but the stupid city of Vineland (New Jersey) is trying to stop it. Traffic will be hella bad, and it will be noisey, but if it's for Red Hot Chili Peppers (rumors are they will be there with a ton of other bands) I can put up with it!

Hmmm, this is a tough one. I've been to a lot of concerts. Here's a few.
back in 03, I saw Tool, and it was the wildest experience ever. There was a killer light show, huge props, and acrobats. They played a wild version Eulogy that still sends shivers down my spine whenever I think about it.
1998, my first time traveling out of state for a show. My friend's older borther drove us all the way to Virginia to see Phish at Virginia Beach. They did a nasty cover of Terrapin Station.
In January of of 2006, my gf and I went to see this weird electronica jazz fusion group called the Dead Kenny G's. The show was just amazing.
Seeing the Flaming Lips in September of 2006 was wild. It was the day before my birhtday and they were playing their first hometown show in years in OKC. We got into the VIP and were right next to the stage.
Last, but not least, last September, I took my gf to her first Black Crowes show. They were headlining this festival called the Corss Canadian Ragweed Family Jam. The opening acts were all sucky local country groups, and all the rednecks came to see them. When the Black Crowes came on, the hicks all walked out, leaving nothing but the people who came to see the Crowes. Chris Robinson started shit talking on the hicks in song form and the band put on an amazing show.
