Yeah.... I have a feeling the movie might ruin the feeling of the mighty name of Halo...... It will probably become one of those really corny and bad sci-fi movies..... :(

I dont think it will become a bad scifi move, besides no scifi movie can be worse then the ones that the scifi channel makes there so bad it doesnt make any sense.

I though the movie was cancelled due the financiel problems. ah well. guess i was wrong :rolleyes: and if there will come a halo movie they need the original voices used in the game. also with the same weaponsounds and such to make it more realistic. and i'm not afraid it would be a messed up movie cause if you see what kind of special effects hollywood uses today they can make it really realistic

it is directed by peter jackson so i dont think that it is going to be like any normal scifi movie and i think that is will be a great thing for the halo series because it will introduce the nongaming public to how good video game plots can be

i was told it was ment to be out in 2006 so y did they hold it bak for so long halo is a good game but im bored with it cos iv compleated it so many times they need to hurry up and biring out halo3

well,according to wikipedia, they first canceld the movie cause of financial problems. but looks like they wonna give it another try.

univesal studios stopped the funding for the movie when the producers asked for more money for special effects but i think that someone else started to jund them after that, it was never intended to come out on 2006, i believe that the orrigional reliese data was going to be in 2007

Unless the movie runs into more financial trouble, there will definetly be a halo movie comming out next year. There has been very little relieced about the movie so people dont know much about the plot or when in the halo timeline it will be taking place but i am personaly looking forward to the movies reliece because i am a big halo fan
