What the reason u all using the direct download rather than torrent downloads??

Hi i am living in singapore and currently my country had a comapny that catches those that download anime(odex) using torrents and those caught will have to pay 5k SG$ hence for safety i switch to direct download... wad reason make u all uses direct download?? :confused:

ya i believe so becos it is harder to track ur dl when using direct dl n tis is wad i believe becos i hav heard many using torrent and recieve letter that the torrent they dl r tracked(us area)

Yes a lot of the torrent programs do not work in the us anymore

Torrents are blocked by the university wireless and direct downloads are faster anyway.

How fast can blazing fast http downloads be ? I tried & it's only like 120+ kb/s. If i use a torrent to d/l an anime file, it can get as fast as 200+kb/s... Anyway, it depends on how hot the file is.. :p

My torrents work, but I don't even bother downloading these when I can just watch them on TV-links or youtube.


not that it is any of my business but whats wrong with this in the gen. bleach talk area, people are asking a questions about where we watch our bleach, and since most of us live outside of japan it has to be somewhere on the internet... i dunno just my opinion

direct download because my computer can't do bittorent, and direct, from my view, it's just WinRAR then copy it from WinRAR to your computer. bittorent is probably the same, but since my computer can't deal with it...oh well XD

I believe the threadstarter gotten enough reasons to use direct download instead of BitTorrent.
