Hmm...
<Also loves to help people.>
Go to www.google.com
Search, download and install the Avira Anti-Virus program.
Scan your computer once or twice.
Uninstall Avira.
Search (google), download and install the AVG Anti-Virus program. (V. 1.5 I think)
Scan your computer once or twice.
Leave AVG running.
(AVG and Avira cannot be installed at the same time, and I believe AVG is better.)
Also, you can go to the Microsoft websites and download the Windows Defender for protecting against downloads, in the future...
Good luck, I hope this works. ^_^
PS.
Google searches:
"Avira Free Anti Virus"
"AVG Free Anti Virus"
I'll try to get the actual links asap.

yeah, I use AVG at home, it's good. But if you cannot get rid of the virus you will probably have to format your hard-drive, which can be a pain...but I think you can rent USB hard drives so you can store all your data on that and re-install windows, then put all the data back, but it depends on how much data you have on your computer....

bah...norton, I used to use it, but soon decided it was not worth my time.
If you have not yet tried AVG, I recommend you ditch norton and get AVG, at least to try it out....

I dislike Norton. A LOT. I used to have Norton...and it was more or less useless. I too prefer AVG.

That's strange. Did you multi-scan, as I said to before?
(This is a tactic, where during the first scan, a virus hides itself, but during the second scan, it is found. I do not know exactly how this works, so please don't ask me, but this is what I know.)

Make sure you have installed AVG 7.5 and updated it.
1. Make sure you have administrative rights to the computer for full system scanning. Scan all hidden files.
2. Scan everyday for 1 week.
3. Make sure all firewalls are turned on and turn off system restore whilst scan is running.
