Kerouac, right? i've only read Book of Dreams and The Subterraneans. how's the book? and unedited, woah you must be thrilled.
i've finished Buddenbrooks and it was quite an experience. i enoyed the variety of characters. and also reread Roverandom, i believe you're familiar with it

Its part of a set of 4 books that together form one big story, but are also independent tales on their own. And now the painful wait for the grand finale
