Evaluation/Trial Spar.......S vs Iko

this was the area Iko chose....

*S stood leaning against one of the cluster of trees, which automatically mean he was on higher ground.

"yo! Iko......this is just an exercise to see where you are at essentially."

*he said in between sips of sake.

"Exercise sounds nice. I am generally not so fond off going all out against oppponents such as you."
Iko said with a mocking smile as he entered the arena. It was a nice and fitting scenery for a fight, a relaxed as it might be. He wore his regular Shikakushou with his halberd strapped over his back. A mocking smile played over his lips as he stared up at his divison captain. He knew that strength wise it was hardly a contest but he wouldn't go down with at least trying.
"Lets cut the talking part and get to the funny stuff."
He called out, swiftly reaching up to the shaft of his weapon and flinging it off his back. He held it in his right hand behind his back, horizontally and with the blade pointing to his right. Then he started rotating it in his hand.

*S could feel Iko's intensity, but at the same time smiled and jumped bacwards into the weird forest saying

"come"

*as he kept moving backwards

Iko shifted his stance a bit as he stopped rotating his weapon and put it over his shoulders, hooking both arms behind it. He didn't know what his captain was up to and was thrilled to see. So he followed him deeper into the forest., keeping a certain distance between them in case S might make a sudden turn and assault him.
"I don't think this is a good idea. The farther you go in the farther I have to go back while dragging out your corpse."

Iko said, raising his voice loud enough for S to hear him, hopefully rovoke him a little.

"wrong answer"

*S dashed to his left, and then made a half serious attack at Iko drawing his blade outin a bououjutsu style.....

Iko was warned. Of course his captain was faster but the boy was able to anticipate some kind of attack after the quick statement that had escaped S' lips. Then S vanished in a sudden movement, disappearing on the spot.
Iko's eyes darted around to, hoping to spot him and eventually succeeded. The older shinigami reappeared to his left and out of the corner of his eye Iko could see a blade flashing up.

With a quick motion Iko stepped backwards in a ducking motion his head flashing backwards, barely able to escape the blade which cut off a few strands of his loose hair. Iko wasn't able to read the attack pattern but his reactions were pretty good.
His own weapon still hovering on his shoulders horizonally slid off to the left, Iko pushing the butt of it towards S, hoping to impale him right through the stomach. "Don't you dare underestimating me!"
