The Zoo

Welcome one and all to the Zoo. I’m sure that you’ve all visited normal zoos with animals ranging from herbivores to the carnivores, but this is not a normal zoo. This Zoo is filled with adjuchas like hollows that represent differing animals in the animal kingdom. Come in and explore this very unique zoo and what it has to offer. We have a multitude of animals up for display and even a food court equipped with all types of food up for offer. The Zoo boasts the world's first free-ranging orang utan habitat in a zoo. This environment showcases the charismatic apes, which are the Zoo's flagship species, in natural surroundings. Guests also get a vantage point along a raised boardwalk.

Other not-to-be missed highlights include the Fragile Forest and Elephants of Asia, both of which were recently refurbished to offer more educational elements such as interpretive signages and discovery stations. Australian Outback and the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia are other fascinating areas to be discovered where guests are immersed in habitats representing the respective geographical region.

The zoo also offer’s the public the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful night safari, where you are taken around the zoo’s natural habitats, while each of the animals are free within the enclosure. The vehicle used to transport the individuals involved in the activity has a very powerful barrier casted around it, making it a very safe environment. No cages, it’s all natural, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the luxuries of the natural world in its magnificence.

Also for the first time EVER, our science division has been able to reanimate the previous rulers of this Earth, the dinosaurs. This new addition to the zoo is also now open to the public’s eyes. Most of the animals within the zoo have been trained and tamed, so there is nothing to fear. The more ferocious animals have a transparent barrier surrounding their habitat, to ensure safety.

If anyone is found releasing any of the animals in the zoo, severe penalties will be applied. So stay out of trouble and enjoy

The Food Court

"I went to the four-legged zoo!!~" Benihime sang the words of some random song she had heard. The girl was constantly picking up random and unneeded bits of information, this time in particular she had been watching an educational television show which was meant to teach children how to multiply numbers. She was ambling about the new zoo, without much thought about where she was going.

'I want to see the cats...' she thought in an absentminded way. Her walk would lead her there where she would lean against the gate staring at the animal in question. Her own two legs showing with vast amounts of skin. For some reason she wasn't wearing shoes, but she was wearing the rest of her clothing. A small t-shirt and a tiny pair of shorts for some reason both were white in color. The shirt had a small black cloud stretched across her chest and the Kanji for her name written in white atop it. She grinned with one hand in her hair as she leaned against the gates.

"Here kitty...come here kitty!!!" she called to the animal wondering if it would travel to her side of the cage.

"Trying to attract creatures now, are you?" Raizen questioned as he approached Benihime. He had entered the zoo, located the woman, and perched atop the railing next to her in a crouched position, only wasting a few moments of his time to do all in order. He looked into the cage, glancing at one panther in particular. The beastly Hollow was rather intriguing, and given the nature of Hollows, Raizen figured it would provide some entertainment during what he considered 'play time.'

"I do believe I'll be leaving with one of these creatures."

Though the animal had started moving towards her tentatively it stopped immediately and stood. Only then and with the words that Raizen said did she notice he too had entered the zoo. She should have expected as much but only replied to his direct question.

"Yes, but I believe it is scared of you. It stopped moving when you showed up..." she said looking to her husband with a bright smile. She listened to him speak his next statement while beckoning the animal a bit more, her smile becoming a bit devious.

"You planning to torture the creature you keep?" she asked in response as if this was the exact logical step to take in understanding his thought pattern.

"Oh? It must be one of the smart ones," he replied. The Commander was considering gauging the Hollow's reactions by forcing his Reiatsu onto it. Though they were Hollow, they were still animals, so surely establishing dominance could yield some entertainment, be it successful or not.

"That depends on what you mean by 'torture.' I only wish to have a bit of fun with it."

The hollow panther did not back down, but it also didn't aggressively approach. It seemed to be content to stand its ground, nothing more and nothing less. Benihime noticed that Raizen was considering something and simply shook her head. Perhaps show of dominance with an animal in a cage? Apparently he was more easily amused than she thought, instead of voicing this particular view she addressed his statement directly.

"I am pretty sure your idea of 'fun' coincides with most ideas of torture." she said as if it was simply a fact and not her own opinion not that it mattered. If Raizen's presence wouldn't allow the hollow to approach she would simply go to it. She hopped onto the edge of the fence the same as Raizen facing the beast within. She paused momentarily and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before her body descended into the pit, barefoot and unarmed.

"Come here, kitty~" she said in her sing song voice. She apparently was more easily distracted by her childish desires than most would care to notice.

The smooth sound of a man whistling echoed about the zoo as Tenshin went about checking each of the animal pens. Strolling down the allocated path with no other intention except the keeping of order within the zoo, the man would be seen analysing each of the animals in their pens as he passed by.

Not it a hurry to get things over and done with as quickly as he could, Tenshin took his time and stopped at the sight of a majestic grey bird who seemed to look akin to that of a bald eagle. Birds such as these eagles always caught Tenshin’s attention as he was rather interested in both their lifestyle and their behaviour. The kings of the skies, was what he recognised them by. Their talons were sharp enough to rip through steal and their beaks were capable of delivering devastating blows.

Arriving at "The Zoo" via Garganta, he noticed this wasn't a Zoo he had predicted in his mind. It was loud and rather uninviting, but seeing his least favourite and most hated species in cages made him smile. It was a great risk as his hollow might feel his fellow peers, and might get excited. And because of that, he decided only to stay to just look around, probably meeting a few familiar faces. It was obvious that his Commander was already here along with a few other people each with similar reiatsu signatures, but his aim of coming here was to watch the hollows, scared to death about living in cages for the rest of their life.

The first cage he arrived at was the monkey cage as he wandered around the humongous zoo. They seemed rather carefree with some swinging about, and the others simply sleeping on gigantic leaves. Had they not yet felt the torture of staying in the cage? Possibly. It might be a few days before the effects begin to come, even weeks, and Kumo couldn't wait for that time to happen. Walking over to the bench he would sleep, not bothered to leave the rather tranquil area. Kumo had however forgotten about his hollow...

As Kaminari began to explore her new surroundings, she heard there was a zoo which had been created that held many different species of hollows which represented those in the animal kingdom. This being one of the main reasons she would be drawn towards the location before most - she loved animals. Even though they were not 'technically' animals?...

The recruit was wearing her crimson red tunic with white tights underneath, and her knee-high dark grey suede boots and her hair being tied up into a ponytail. As she finally entered through the gates, the woman settled her heavy backpack more comfortably across her shoulders and began venturing throughout the zoo and enjoying the sights and sounds.

[Momo Hitsugaya]

Momo was looking around the zoo, a bit late for its opening and getting creeped out. Finally after walking by the Hyenas and hearing the creepy laugh made her run screaming. She did not stop running till she ended up bumping into her mother.
