Well it is a sound theory, and highly logical. Though Aizen definitely isn't that old, TK had described him in the turn back the pendulum arc as a young, genious much like Toshiro. There's no way to ever actually know how Aizen learned all the stuff he knew, and you have to remember that Aizen was only so OP because of the H orb, before that he was equal to a lesser Yamamoto or Kenpachi.. Now the only real thing that could blow a hole in your theory is that humans have reitsu to. but they age. Other than that your theory is pretty good

I was wandering how old the soul reapers were in SS in human years?

Not sure. Age is very weird in SS. Hitsugaya could be older than Yamamoto for all we know. Aging is all dependant on their death in the human world (I believe). But i think the gap is quite big, so if Hitsugaya is about 15 in the human world, in SS, he could be 1,000 years old. I don't think you will ever age in SS? Someone please correct me if i'm wrong

Well there is never an exact way to tell, but I would say that someone who is 100 years old in the soul society would be around 10 years old in human years and someone who is 1000 years old in soul society would be around 100 years old in human years etc

I'm pretty sure people do age in soul society, 100 years ago Byakuya was still a kid but currently he is an adult and hitsugaya was much younger 100 years ago as seen in the turn back pendulum arc. Unless ofcourse by "aging" you meant that they still grow but just don't get old after becoming adults etc. Anway, I still think that in soul society when you look older than someone you actually are older than them aswell.

How would we know?? Maybe one year old in the Real World is equivalent to 10?? That is my estimate.

Aging is pretty inconsistent in Bleach, and its probably unexplained because the characters' ages are made that way to make the show more popular with young people. Hitsugaya should be about 10-13 years old, Byakuya around 25-30, Yachiru 4-6 and Yamamoto like 80+. Just some of my guesses to the ages of Bleach characters.

I agree, with this, anyway we know that Yamamoto is at least 2000 years old since he was the founder of the Shinigami Academy and i'm guessing both Kyouraku and Ukitake are near that age as well
(they're at least about 200 years old though since they've been the longest running captains with 150 years), i'm also positive that Unohana's just as old as them (if not older)

Most of the Shinigami are at least 200 years old, even the young ones
