here's another poem of mine: (yesh, I'm a poet-wannabe)
made: Oct. 20, 2007


The Skies are blue

I run, just to catch up with you.
My feet, being pushed forcefully…
Don’t you love me just the same?
We laugh about things jokingly.

I hug your powder-smelling bag.
Yes, it has a weird yet calming scent.
Oh, it’s not powder; it’s your perfume!
I’ll open it and free you from being pent.

I shout, “I love you, my darling!”
“Go, my sweet one!” I’ll cheer for you.
For loving you is one of the best things,
Everyday the skies are blue!

You stare, no, glare at me,
For sometimes I’ve crossed the line.
You crumple my hand, yes, you’re mad.
But since you held my hand, I turn out fine.

I don’t call this ‘infatuation’
For I don’t love you in a ‘crush’ way.
But you’re so very special to me,
I love you, my friend, and that love will stay.

I shout, “I love you, my friend!”
“Go, my charming one!” I know you love me too.
For being friends is one of the greatest things
Everyday the skies are blue!
