~BA Clan/Family Circulation Desk~

Due to the recent increase in forum clans/families I have decided to take it upon myself to link them all together under one thread. This will be the main thread [circulation desk] that will link the entirety of them, it will also serve as the main point for people interested in joining a particular clan/family that fancies their interest. I will provide links to each home page as well as the application pages so people can commence with the sign-ups. This is just a helpful tool for those who wish to see their brain children [new clans] prosper a little easier. This thread will be an access point to the many various clans, refer to this for references only!

Note: All member lists/ranking systems will have changed. All main HQ's or dojo's that coincide with each clan/family are in their respectable divisions, with people who lead them. For any information regarding any of this refer to the links I have given.

When a new clan is made I ask that whoever is in charge message me so I can continuously update this thread. The reason why I hadn't added in the Saikoro Clan, was because Boo-taichou stated that "the clan was under investigation" and also the main page was "locked."

Yeah where are the larger BA families and their heads? Like the ones Luder listed and the talbanes.

Do they have Headquarters or a general meeting location? The ones listed all have HQ's and contact people... he didn't just make a list of every clan on BA, just the one's that had an actual location you could go to and possibly become a part of.

CP, might I suggest that you get a small description from each of the clan leaders so that people can see a little blurb of what each clan is all about before clicking? I just think that would be a good thing to have.

Um... FA is Jinketsu (@ Inga). And... for the Sukuchis, well it's just a family, not a whole clan.
And in CP's thread, only clans which have existant threads are repertoried here. The families / clans with no threads didn't get any mention here due to... well, being families <.<

How much is self-explanatory. Scrolling through the entirety of the forum I made this thread. Posted links to both contact people and their threads for people to speak about initiation "or" general background on the clan. The main page of each link posted has enough general description on what should be read over:

Don't know what you mean by this above post. The reason for said reference desk is basically providing easy access to information around the forums. What would honestly be the point of that when you can speak to the clan leaders directly or "click" the link to their main page XD. That's basically providing people with what you just mentioned.

The main purpose behind the circulation desk is thus: To spread the word of pre-existing clans or newly founded clans and/or families throughout the forum to people who might be interested in joining. Obviously the above links are what was available, mainly:

• Clan main pages
• Clan HQ's [as well as additional threads which coincide with their respected clans]
• Clan founders [and through them and the links posted: other members]

The reason why most families or other clans were left off the list is simple: There is nothing else showcasing them except word of mouth. However like I have tried to state in the main post of this thread is this:

"If there are any remaining clans on this forum that would like to be added to the general list, simply post somewhere where your clan members congregate [as well as allow other people to join] and TA-DA, message me and TA-DA the list will of course be updated! Minamoto, Talbain, Sukuchi, Jinketsu [even though at one time there were threads to this clan] there are no such threads to link up"

What would be the point? Well...first I understand you made a mistake with the Tylandras...you still have the leader's user name wrong even in the edit. Since you didn't take Star out of there, if people are interested in the Tylandras, they are still going to PM and VM her, which isn't really fair to her or the leaders especially since people are going to be asking all about it since they may not have looked at the thread and would not know what it is about.

Anyway. What isn't the point of having a simple one or two lines about each clan? It generates initial interest in the clan. If I don't know what it is about, what is the point of this entire thread? Sure they can click the link and it will lead to the clan but you would have to click each link individually and find out what all of them are about on your own etc. which is completely inefficient if you can just read a short description of each of them in one central location at one time. Personally, I think having a sentence saying "this clan is a family clan" or "this clan is for puppy lovers" or whatever else, gives someone an idea of what they are about to research before they click the link and delve more into it.

Just saying though...after all, it's not my thread. It was a mere suggestion clearly one that is not beneficial in any way either.

ah ok, sorry, I'm not good with names. anyway there were more clans if I remember correctly.
