[13th Division] Boot Camp #1 Valaric's Desert

"Hmm... looks like it's time..." He thought just right after a sip from his sake. "Alright, I think we'll get right down to it..." Noki exclaimed as he stood up, patting his clothes around to clean it off. "Are you ready or would you like to try it out some more with the dummies?" He asked, his right hand ready to pull out a bokken from his left hip.

She pulled out the asauchi from the dummy. It was almost at the same moment, that she realized her trainer talking to her. "Are you ready or would you like to try it out some more with the dummies?" Tetsuamaya heard her trainer ask. Without any hesitation, her eyes lit up and looked back at her trainer.

"No, I don't want to try it out with the dummies anymore, thank you for asking." she spoke as her eyes shifted back to the cut she made on the dummy's neck and stood up straight.

"Mmm... alright," He replied, walking towards Youtsuki. "You're having some trouble with swinging your zanpakutou..?" Noki asked as he have now drawn out his bokken, "I'll be using this bokken to gauge your striking power in conjunction with dodging movements." he explained, "Obviously if you break it, we'll move on to techniques and tactics which is... *cough* my favourite." he further continued before drawing his right hand out where Noki was holding the bokken.

"Alright, let's begin." He exclaimed, trying to anticipate Youtsuki to go in directly and quickly.

'First move again, I see. I've always believed that girl should go first ... goodness,' Tetsuamaya thought, 'I hate taking the first turn ... '

'A bokken, eh? That would most likely ... be as hard as these dummies. I shouldn't take them too lightly, perhaps?' she looked at the wooden sword in her trainer's hand, and focused on the task at hand. It was to break the bokken, but how?

Tetsuamaya shifted her body to her trainer's direction and ran at full speed, and sand rose up behind her. As soon as she came around five feet away from her target, she slashed diagonally from right to left, in an attempt to hit the bokken. After all, the body wasn't the target, it was just the sword. She was running, so it couldn't have been her strongest, but she tried to put a decent amount of strength in it.

Expecting the attack, Noki reacted quickly and swiftly by jumping back though Youtsuki was still able to 'ding' up the bokken. "Ehh... nice but you'll gotta do better than that now." He stated, whilst sliding back as sand dust scatters around both of his feet. "Get ready..." Noki said, as he ran in a circular motion from where Youtsuki was though not attacking her.

"Get ready..." she heard her trainer say, and proceeded to move in a swift motion. From her position, her trainer moved counter clockwise.

'To the left ... ' Tetsuamaya thought, and averted her focus on the quickly approaching man. She shifted her weight on her right foot and proceeded to move clockwise on her place in order to get the maximum power to meet it on her left the moment he happens to pass by.

Rushing in just as another gust of wind blasts through the sands, Noki stepped up his speed as he now turned towards Youtsuki. Going towards directly at her. "Good, she's expecting where I'd be.." He though just as he was approaching her, just before then Noki jumped towards Youtsuki for an attack. His bokken positioned just to the left of his hip, a few feet from Youtsuki and Noki slashed from his left to right in an almost diagonal moition.

Tetsuamaya's asauchi stopped right in time to meet her trainer's bokken ... or it should have, if the man did not slash upwards. Instead of hitting, she was the one who got hit. From under the asauchi, the force exerted on the bokken seemed too strong, due perhaps to the fact that she has not yet regained her composure, and the fact that the trainer was significantly stronger. The asauchi was forced upwards, and her two arms hurt a little due to the pressure, and the sudden shift of direction.

As soon as the bokken passed by her asauchi, she pulled it back to her direction and stepped back three steps in a rather zigzag motion to prevent herself from falling on the sand completely, lest she wanted the grains of sand in her nose. Sand swirled up as her feet dug small footsteps on the terrain, and she coughed as a result.

'Okay, now I remember. This is exactly why I hate sand.' she thought to herself as she waved the asauchi in front of her to keep the sand from getting into her eyes.

I regarded that it was upwards since it would be hard to swing it downwards from your hip. Also, I am confused by your post. >.< When you slashed, did you already land or were you in midair? >.< Gomen for being so confused ... and slow.

Nokis eyes squinted theirselves, showing a little bit of disappointment though it can't be helped with the situation. "Shouldn't have put that much..." He thought, as he landed before walking for a few feet away from Youtsuki. "Well... I do think we should do it again..." He exclaimed and without even waiting for the trainees response he began to run towards Youtsuki, coming from her right. Though this time, Noki was planning to not make it too sudden or quick.

Slower than earlier, he turned towards the Trainee and just as he was approaching her with a few feet of clearance, Noki drew out his Bokken and made a horizontal slash going from right to left at Youtsukis right hand side. Though he wasn't clearly aiming to hit the Trainee at any specific body part, or at all.

Kasumi wiped her brow and shielded her eyes from the son with her hand. She was waiting for her senpai to begin her training. I wonder if it's as hot in Hueco Mundo as it is here, she thought. She decided to warm up her muscles before he start of training.
