• You have to give your opponent the chance to counter-attack your moves.
• Any draws will be have to be judged by at least 3 outside division members.

*A burst of silver light struck the inside of the arena. From the radiant orb, light took the shape of multiple birds of paradise. They flapped and flew back into the orb, exploding it to reveal the feline shinigami inside.*

"Like it? It's a special reiatsu bomb I made. Nothing fancy, but can be used for an entrance. So, where is my opponent?"

  Not really frail, I can stand my ground against other people's hits to some extent. My strikes would surely hurt frail people. My might belong to the scrawny class of people.
• Power (Reiatsu amount): 99
  I belong to the high tier of Vice captain class fighters in terms of Reiatsu. I would rival against a low tier Captain in terms of Reiatsu.
• Kidou / Reiatsu Control: 115
  • In addition to Soul Burial, I potentially can fire all the Kidou spells. Bakudo/Hadou 99 requires, in order to hit, full focus on my behalf when I fire it.
  • If I add all the spells I fire before passing out (if fired at full power), it gives 307.
  • I can hide my reiatsu completely.
  • Perfect channeling ability to the point that I can channel some of it to a nearby location, not forcedly very close. The blasts can last a moderate amount of time (still very short) before dispatching in the air. My blasts are not very strong yet they're already quite the dread.

  Brawler. Basic punches/kicks which could leave many openings.

  I am developing a fair skill, yet it's still low. I can beat most underdoggers out there, but I'm still an underdogger myself. My art isn't really refined yet.

  I am quite the golden arrow out there. Very, very quick. I could catch up with those who move towards me at the speed of light... in terms of reflexes. In terms of Shunpo, to some extent, I can rival with those legendary speedy people.

  • I have achieved a complete control over my Shikai, with its 2 passive ability/ies and 3 active ability/ies.
  • I have achieved a complete control over my Bankai, with its 2 passive ability/ies and 3 active ability/ies.
  • Due to this level of Zanpakuto mastery, its manifestations are getting stronger. While Bankai might not be as strong as an ultimate master's, it is still something you'd better not neglect.

Through the dark shadows that lurked throughout the most part of the arena, a sound of what it seems to be a bell was heard all throughout. It sounds echoed through all four walls of the room and kept of making such resonating sounds. Not too soon when a foot had stepped out of the shadows.

“Uhhhh--- Righty then… ”

“Right~~” Taking up a deep breath as his chest rises followed by his hands rising up above his head as if he were stretching them. The moment he had exhaled the air from his lungs, his eyes opened revealing two different colors: the left was as brown as the bark of a tree while the right one, as blue as the calm sea, was somewhat gleaming through the small amount of light present around the area.

The first thing to be noticed was the twin kodachis that hung from his left hip. Both protruding forwards ready to be unsheathed just in case. As he walked on, his white colored sleeves waved about as his hand was tucked right inside his pockets. His face was then revealed, closed eyes he walked on. His trademark bell was to be seen on the right top of a piece of cloth tied onto his head. It kept on making resonating per each step that the man makes.

“Greetings!” He exclaimed in a friendly manner but underneath was already showing signs of excitement.

*Tora waved to his opponent happily, his blond tabby tail raised up.*

"Hi hi! This is going to be one good fight! I don't know if I can win. My last scrape was with my captain and I hardly made it out of that one alive. I just seem to be on a losing streak."

*He gave a smile.*

"So, lets get this thing started, otouto-kun (little brother)."

*Tora pointed to the ground at Azure's feet*

"Hado 1, sho!"

*A pulse of reiatsu smashed into the ground, releasing a cloud of dust. Not wanting to lose any time, Tora rushed into the cloud to use it as a smoke screen. The feline crouched and threw a sweep kick, trying to knock his opponent off his feet.*

The moment he stood there a few feet right in front of his opponent, Tora Daichi, 7th Division Vice Captain, he knew that he had to be on his full guard. This is no child’s play to fight with a Vice Captain after all.

Both of his fists have tightened. The stretching of the leather was partially heard from that of his gauntlets suddenly feeling some pressure from within. Should he win or not, that his not what concerns him so far. As long as he would get to enjoy this fight, that is what should matter the most. And so he took a deep breath.

“Hai hai, Onii-san (big brother)” Was his reply giving out a smile of his own.

His left foot swept sideways in a half counter-clockwise turn until it stopped some feet away from his rear that had caused some dust to fly about around his foot. This was followed by his right hand touching the pommel of one of his sheathed kodachi as he waited for the 7th Division Vice Captain’s move.

~Hado 1, Sho!~

His ears heard it loud and clear, this was a kidou quite familiar to him. He stared at Tora’s hand trying to locate on which part he was targeting. Then he realized that it was the ground right underneath his feet was the one being targeted.

There was a disturbance of dust that emanated from the ground. Piles of dust had gathered around Ruri. He was smoke blinded for a few moments raising his left arm in front of his face to avoid the dust to make in contact with his eyes. In doing so, the bell above his head rang once again.

There he realized that his opponent might be using some sort of tactics. Tactics enable to deceive an opponent’s senses before waiting for the right moment to attack. Smart move it was.

“Up? Left? Right? …. Down!” as his eyes narrowed about as the fingers of his right hand crawled through the handle of his kodachi. In a quick yet smooth fluid motion, had he unsheathed it swinging sidewards to his right.

Trying to feel the reiatsu of his opponent, he realized that he was now not too far from him and was about to give a sweeping kick attack coming from underneath.

With his right foot planted firmly on the ground, he gave a quick thrust on his right foot enabling himself to glide backwards with his left foot for support as it was the one to be used in gliding through the ground. Portions of dust were made as he did so.

As he tried to escape from the pile of smoke, he had his right hand gripping onto one of his kodachis pulled backwards near to his shoulder closed fist as he chanted.

“Hadou no San Juu San: Soukatsui!” He yelled out whereas a small round form of energy was formed from his tightly closed fist. Right away he made a thrust forwards then releasing a blue colored spray-like flame targeting the inner part of the smoke thinking that his opponent might still be inside.

"Bakudō 39 Enkosen."

*A circular shield formed before Tora, protecting him from the fiery blast that came from Azure's spell.*

"A fine counter. I see I'm going to have to be a little more direct with you. But I should warn you, I'm the best in the seventh when it comes to kido."

*The feline burst out of the smoke, The bakudo shattering like glass behind him. With a burst of speed, he jumped into the air and flipped. Gracefully landing behind his opponent, Tora spun just as a heel struck the ground, Aiming a kick into Azure's ribcage.*

That's not all.

*Focusing his reiatsu, a silver aura formed around the attacking leg, amplifying any impact it might make.*

Ring goes the bell once again as Ruri glided through the ground.

The moment the blue colored flame was released, he flicked his forefinger along with his middle finger spinning the handle of his blade in a clockwise arc. As he spun the handle, he quickly grabbed it again but is now wielding it in a backhand grip whereas the tip of the blade is facing the other way around. He lowered his right hand after that.

Of course he knew that such an attack is nothing to a Vice Captain. It could be just that he’s just making sure. That is… No in an underestimating way. Tora daichi, this was in fact his first time facing such an opponent. What an excitement this is.

“I’m honored then.” Was Ruri’s short reply standing a few feet from the pile of smoke with both feet shoulder length apart from each other. His bright blue right eye and left dark brown left eye both gleaming through the light as he focused his attention on the smoke in front of him.

His eyes suddenly turned up with the bell ringing yet again as he stared at his opponent that was now airborne then flipping himself to his rear. Ruri’s eyes narrowed as it looked up staring at the feline opponent as it flipped and turned landing behind him. Ruriiro quickly turned a clockwise arc turn to face his opponent just to meet up with a surprising kick which was supposed to be aimed for his torso by looking at the angle of his kick.

He knew his own weaknesses. He knew to himself that he is weak against Hakuda. He already knew ever since that he might find it hard to face a Hakuda user of an opponent. And here right in front of him, an able Hakuda user.

He clumsily crouched about bending both knees then quickly raising his left hand on shoulder level as he focused some reiatsu of his own onto it. As the kick made in contact with that of his left arm, he tried to fight back with his own strength as he tried to channel as much reiatsu as he can but he gave in.
A slight frown followed by his brows meeting up in the middle as he took the kick.

He was helplessly dragged towards his right side though he kept his feet tightly planted on the ground but cannot help the impact being applied. This was followed by his right hand wielding once of his kodachis to quickly stab the ground trying to stop himself from moving. Followed by his left arm feeling partially numb after the impact that had occurred. The bell continued ringing all that time.

“Well then.” He smirked as right before he could even stop had gave a kick on the ground with his right foot. Quickly his body flickered about as he slipped into a shunpo appearing a feet from his opponent’s rear. Him facing the side as his bell quiickly rang once again followed by the rope tied around his shoulders wavered about caused by his sudden movements.

“Hadou no San Juu Ichi: Shakkahou!” Dropping his kodachi over the ground wheras the tip of its blade planted itself some inches onto the dusty floor. His right hand thrusts forwards where a ball of red colored flame had engulfed his entire palm as he was about to aim for his opponent’s face.

*Tora saw, or rather he didn't see, his opponent disappear in a flash step. The tom was concerned. His opponent was faster than himself. His recent fight with his captain taught him little on how to deal with such opponents. But the feline's ears caught something.*

His bell. He's moving behind me.

*Tora spun around to face his attacker. The sudden flash of reiatsu, mixed with the red shining light, told him this wasn't good.*

"Hado 1, Hado 32!"

*Tora pressed an index finger into his stomach.*

"Sho!"

*A burst of reiatsu slammed into Tora's stomach like a iron punch. The feline slide back from his position, creating space between himself and his opponent. As he moved, Tora held his left hand, which had been charged with a yellow energy.*

"Ōkasen (Yellow Fire Flash)!"

*The flames exploded out into a golden arc, raging forth towards Azure and his shakkahou. Tora gagged and cringed at the self inflicted pain, but knew this would be acceptable to the fiery assault his opponent made.*

“Come on…”

His brows furrowed as his right arms was in an elevated angle about to thrust the ball of red crimson flame which was supposedly aimed for his opponent’s face.

As he did so, his left foot was forwarded about to gain much more balance while his right foot, some feet from behind, was partially planted on the ground. As he pushed forwards, his left foot followed moving inch by inch aiming to close the gap between him and his opponent.

When…

‘Hado 1, Hado 32!’

Ruri made good use of his ears yet again hearing from his opponent. Only that the supposedly spell which he had thought that was to be used towards himself was a mistake. It seems that time had froze for a while as there he stood teeth gritting about as his eyes gazed through his opponent. His body stopped for a moment as he hauled back his right hand, seen from his eyes were bits of curiosity.

‘Ōkasen!’

This wasn’t much of a surprise anymore. He knew that his opponent was an elite kidou user after all.

As the bright beam engulfed in yellow light headed straight forth towards him head on, Ruriiro made a couple of half steps backwards as he pulled back his right arm once again still holding the red crimson flame and quickly made a thrust forwards. He threw the ball of red flame aiming for it to make in contact with the yellow beam. Then he crossed both arms in front of his face to at least protect himself from harm.

As both energized projectiles had clashed a sudden explosion had occurred. The close impact was too much to handle even for Ruriiro himself. The explosion had caused him to be pushed backwards while he tried his best to remain standing on the ground while both of his feet glided through the ground causing disturbances of the dirt scattered all about. This when he held his right hand straight forwards as he exclaimed…

“Bakudou no Kyuu: Hourin!” Flicking his hands at the same time as a cord of glowing rope zapped out of his middle and forefinger rushing forwards as it grabbed hold of his kodachi planted on the ground. As the cord of energy wrapped around the handle where its blade was only but some inches deep planted on the ground, Ruri pulled back his right hand taking of the blade from the ground as well as it hauled its way back from its owner.

Quickly as his fingers wrapped around his kodachi’s handle, he aimed to thrust his right arm once again this time, throwing his blade towards his opponent. Followed by…

“Hadou no Ichi: Shou!” His right forefinger was aimed towards the pommel of his kodachi therefore to increase the speed of the force of his thrown weapon towards his opponent aiming for his left shoulder.

Right after with his left hand, gripping onto his other kodachi in a backhand style over his left hip quickly unsheathing it as his foot stepped on forwards as well and made a dash forwards with the blade raised forwards diagonally in front of his chest following from behind of his other blade.

*Tora let out a soft "ah" as Azure's blade flew at him.*

Too fast for a kido.

*Tora crouched and laid his hand upon his sword. Not having to wait long, The feline performed a draw slash, his blade whipping out of the sheath at a high speed to quickly cut what was ahead of it. But this wasn't going to be an offensive measure, but to defend. Tora's blade let out a sharp clang as Azure's sword struck it. The force of his sword kept pushing on Tora's Katana, forcing Tora to slid back along the ground.*

"Can't force it back."

*Tora pushed as hard as he could and angled his blade, making the sword striking him ricochet over his shoulder. But as it flew, the blade sliced into Tora's cheek, leaving a bleeding cut.*

"Tsh."

*No time to rest, his opponent was right behind the previous assult.*

Let's see if Bigby taught him this trick.

*As his opponent came close, Tora gripped his katana and shunpoed, appearing on Azure's left. In close range, the feline swung his sword, aiming a horizontal strike against his opponents arm. But as the sword got close, he immediately shunpoed again, preventing the cut. The shinigami reappeared on Azure's right.*

Wolf style Shadow Fang. One movement distracts, leaving a blind spot on the other side.

*Without a moment to lose, Tora thrust his blade, aiming to strike in between the ribs of Azure's ribcage.*
