Alright. Since no one else suggested something different from what we discussed AND since the pictures for the Venice idea are lovely..I think we should go with it D: Any violent reaction? ....If none, we'll stick to the discussed theme and Venice / pinkness / pancakes pictures would be much appreciated.

We'll wait for suggested photos and hopefully finalise the theme by tomorrow D:

Okk, let's get this thread back alive...actually, now that I think about it, I suppose I should get Rae and Frausty subscribed to this thread ^__^

Anywhoo, the theme I was thinking about isss:
superheroes
We could all be superheroes, and we could have several iconic superhero structures liiike... *ponders*
-The Batcave
-Gotham City
-or the X-Mansion

I read through the discussions and there have been awesome ideas for the themes=D Maybe we could pick some of them some time later. Great idea Toshi! A superhero theme would be interesting. I like the X-MansionxD Although, I'm not sure but I think I've seen a thread- maybe in the 4th divvy and it had a superhero themeD:

About the WMV, I have some ideas on the themes we could work on. How about we make the theme about fireworks! I've had a fascination for fireworks since last week and I don't know why so that gave me the idea

Or, we could work on mafia themexD Something along the lines of The Godfather or something that's based on the 1950s pin striped pants, hats, gold chains, cigars, monnehh and guns>8D Erm.. maybe we can omit the gunsxD Something like this:

Here's a game oriented theme, and I love the game itself, Warcraft.

the above pic is a 'moonwell' from the game warcraft,

Now themewise we can have 9 taverns, primarily classified into Sentinel, Neutral, Scourge, secondary classification of Strength, Agility, Intelligence.
Heroes live in each tavern and have their own powers, their primary attribute beiing the strongest (either you are strength type, agility or intelligence)
Now what to do further lemme think about it.. if anyone's interested xD

Great ideas guys! Sorry to come to the discussion a little late. (I'm always late.) And I think it would be a good idea to use some previously suggested ideas from before.

All of these ideas are good, but I feel like we already are superheroes, right? We could have it as a superhero theme park and have the Batcave, Fortress of Solitude, Xmansion, etc as seperate sections. But the warcraft idea with different taverns could work well, maybe make it a simpler concept though, like have four or five instead and have them like element based. But that still might get complicated. I do like the gangster idea, we could even make it more general, like the Swingin' 20's. We could have gangsters and a speak easy, a swing band, a women's rights rally , etc. I love the 20's, I wore a flapper outfit to my senior prom. There's a lot of leeway for that theme too.

My only main thought is that we need to make the first new theme simple, and we can go into something that has more detail later. Also, how often will we change the theme? Just wait and see how people are responding, kind of play it by ear, or set a certain amount of time?

Well, Rae, you're right about the theme being simple, it just needs to be simple, details come later, and I definitely see where you're coming from about the superheros, but we'd be a different kind of superhero, and we'd only be dressing up like them me thinks
And about your 20's idea,I think that's more american than any other nationality, and this is an international website, however, if everyone else is ok with that, then Im fine with that idea
And Xen, about the warcraft idea, it seems like a nice change of pace, but I dont think everybody plays warcraft and would be confused
Buut, like I said, if the divvy wants to give it a shot, then lets go ahead and do it
