Battle of the Elite: Valter vs Lucion

Battle Arena:
Island of the Dragon

And ancient and hidden landmass, suspended deep within the skies. It is filled with dragonoid hollow who breath a vicious eternal flame that never dies.

Hazards:

• Molten lava flows like along the island instead of water.
• The temperature of the island is very hot, could induce heat stroke very easily.
• The dragons will attack if they see you however they are mere adjuchas level arrancar.
• Their flame if touched will remain and burn that area for 2 posts.

*From a shadowy cave in the blazing island of black, orange, and hellish red, a figure dressed in black, with a swath of wild, red hair draped down to his shoulders as a sparkle of lava orange glinted off of his silver belt buckle, a simple piece of square metal, thoroughly scratched and dented. His sword sheath, tucked into his belt, shimmered in the heat waves that pulsed from the hissing and belching liquid stone that raged about the island. Valter Kyladislas began stealthily walking forward on the rocks, rummaging in the inner pockets of his coat for a something, finally drawing out a cigarette in his left hand. Instead of using his lighter, Valter simply bent down, and winced as the heat from the rock river singed his hand, but lit his his cigarette, which he took a drag from before switching it to his right and sucking on his left fingers to cool them down. After stuffing the white tobacco cylinder back into his lips, he looked about, seeing shadows flit through the clouds, flares of fire running inside of them as dragons barreled in in out in primal revelry.*

*As Valter scouted the island looking for Lucion, a Dragon had flew over head, blocking out the light with it's enormous shadow. The dragon screeched in pain as a thud could be heard coming from it. It then sky dived down falling limply to the ground and crashing right infront of valter. After the debris cleared, a man with his arms crossed dressed in a tailor black and white suit could be seen smirking from atop the scaled beast. His golden eyes seemed to glow through the smoke like two flashlights, and then he hopped down causing a gust to blow the remaining dust away. It was Lucion! His famous smirk painted on his face, he walked over to valter and waved as he patted his suit with his other hand.*

Ahlow Valtz, hope your travel here was pleasant?

*He then squated into a fighting stance a quite recognizable one and then nodded towards valter. Edging him to come on.*

Well lets not waste time, you can have the first move.

Hmm, what's that?

*Valter watches in comic boredom as the massive dragon plummeted and crashed to earth, blowing Valter's long hair back in a flurry of red, half of his cigarette falling off as the wind caused the smoldering tobacco to burn faster, into grey ash which collapsed like a sand castle in the face of an Atlantic hurricane. He watched on, completely unfazed as Lucion got off the dead beast and smoothed out his suit, introducing himself and taking a fighting stance with great relaxation. Valter grinned at the Arrancar, and inclined his head for a moment, walking towards the Arrancar...*

Ah, my journey was quite enjoyable! Many dragons and monkeys and such. The monkeys were cooler though.

*...while drawing his slim black blade with his right hand, pointing it at Lucion's body and motioning at the guns he carried with him...*

Nice guns. I wonder if they're at my caliber?

*...and stuck his sword into the scales of the now burning dragon - it had fallen into the lava- and pried one out with the tip of his sword, before tossing the shiny, hard object in his left hand...*

~ Alright...~

*... and throwing it at Lucion's head, aiming to break his nose as the scale hurtled at his face, while Valter Shunpod to the edge of the cliff and jumped off. Once he was out of sight, he turned to the cliff, only 5 centimeters in front of him, and grasping his sword with two hands, stabbed it into the rock. Metal shrieked against rock as Valter's Zanpakuto sheared through the volcanic stone, eventually coming to a stop when Valter crouched and ground his combat boots into the side of the cliff as well, coming to a stop that smelled slightly of burnt rubber. Looking to his left, Valter saw a large hole in the rock, where a roar and a jet of flame could be seen emerging. Remembering the massive dragon Hollows he had seen, Valter grunted and pulled himself up with enough force to send himself flying up, before landing on the blade of his sword and flattening himself against the cliff face as the Hollow blew out of the cave and wheeled down into the sky to fatally frolic.*

*Lucion's eyes squinted as the scale was flung towards the center of his face by valter. He simply pivoted to the left whilst cocking his head slightly to the left as well. He dimwittedly kept his eyes on the scale instead of his opponent, and barely caught him as his clothing slipt away from the side of the cliff. He sucked his teeth and glared as he took three paces before sonidoing the rest of the feet ahead. He appeared out in the air his body looking down at Valter with both pistols pointed in his direction he releases two bala that cut through the air with a loud screech. The force from the bala in collision with the force of gravity on his body caused him to stay in place for a few more moments. He used this time to his advantage and gathered some reitsu at the center of his foot causing a golden mass of energia to form. It then compacted down into a tiny golden orb resting at his toes and now with his leg fully pulled back, He whipped it in a diagonal kick. This caused the coalesced energy to take shape in the form of a wave that flew down towards Valter.*

*Now about to plumit down millions of feet until reaching the sands of las noches, he gathered some reitsu in his feet and created a platform for him to stand on, and stay airbourne.*

  • All Shinigamis can do Soul burial, so do I.

  I am developing a fair skill, yet it's still low. I can beat most underdoggers out there, but I am still an underdogger.

  I am better than the average, overdogger class. There are better people out there and I know it, but I still can defend myself to an extent (I won't crumble easily).

  I would be among the quick people who would enjoy doing mile sprints. I could train underdoggers for sure, they'd learn a lot!

*Valter smiled as Lucion came over the ridge, firing his Balas, which raced down the floating rock, exuding a golden light like that of the Argonauts' desired ramskin...*

~Firing as he comes... an aggressive fighter.~

*... before the red-haired 6th Seat's mouth broke out into a murmuring chuckle, rising merrily like a splashing forest brook. It was drowned out by a sound deep within the floating mountain, a sound Valter knew was coming: the rumbling snarl of a dragon Hollow. As the Balas neared Valter, the dragon wheeled out of the cave, spitting fire which mostly absorbed the power of the Balas, but more importantly split them apart and sent them in a V-trajectory to the sands of the cold desert below away from Valter. But as Lucion fired Los Turbones, it was too late...*

Oh hell. AHHHHHH!!!!!!!

*... for Valter had ripped his sword from the rock and vaulted from the cliff, landing dead on the dragon's back, right in the crook where the neck met the body, creating a comfortable perch for the Shinigami to sit on, grabbing on sharp back talon and screaming as the dragon tore up the skies, making a 90 degree vertical turn up into the sky, disappearing into the clouds, where only roars, flashes of light, and Valter's cries of "WHAT THE FIDDLESTICKS!!!" could be detected...*

*Lucion glared in the direction of valter as he saw the dragon get in the way of his attack. He followed the two as they soared into they sky and he himself sighed he then snapped his fingers. Imediately and eerie silence filled the island. Then one by one in a dark haze of creation came the dragon hollow, as they used their primitive gagragnta technique to come towards Lucion's side. HE then smirked as he looked up towards all of the dragons before him, as he knew valter who would now be on the backs of one of them.*

Hehehehe Silly Shimigami, I guess you didn't know of the certain perks that comes with being one of lord Fuzen's Fraccion? As Horsemen of Conquest.... I have all of the Hollow not worthy of the title vasto lorde under my command.......... Using these idiots as camouflage isn't going ot work.........

*Lucion then pointed his pistols at all of the dragons infront of him, staring at them emotionlessly before smirking and beginning to fire.*

*He then initiated a bala barrage shooting down each and every dragon before him, knowing that eventually he'd dispose of the one that valter was hiding on and in turn deal some damage.*

*Valter's eyes were wide open as he and the dragon Hollow descended into the darkness of Garganta, that unique grimace of black, but then they narrowed, and Valter listened carefully as Lucion came into view on the other side, along with the other Hollows. As Lucion pointed his pistols at Valter, the Shinigami smiled...*

~Oh, here we go...~

*... before jumping off of his dragon, easily moving his head to the side as a talon from one of the dragons nearly severed his ear. Immediately, he Shunpoed right. When Lucion fired the Bala Barrage, Valter stood the side of it, mostly out of the way, though a few nearly hit Valter. His reflexes allowed him to dance like a blade of grass in the wind, bending his body and moving it about to avoid the energy bullets that raced past him.*

Not bad. But that's bad, murdering all those Hollows, I mean, come on, they have rights!

*Valter smiled while he was speaking, then he Shunpoed away, his right hand rising up, though it was an unusual movement, unless he was trying to draw a blade or use Kido, before he disappeared. He reappeared 3 meters above Lucion, a massive revolver in his hand, aimed at the back of Lucion's head with all of the semblance of authority of the Fates themselves...*

*... before firing three shots, sending 3 golden bullets at Lucion. If they hit, they would explode in a pumpkin-sized energy expansion.*

*Lucion now slightly winded, took two slow breathes to regain his breathing. He then smirked and shook his head at Valter's joke, but then he quickly regained his demeanor as he initiated a shunpo. He couldn't see him within his line of vision so he knew, even before his senses told him, that he was behind him. He turned and as he did his eyes spotted him in the air aiming a gun at him, lucion raised a brow and smirked.*

Trying to copy me eh?

*He then heard the release command and braced himself, however only three golden bullets were fired at him. He pointed both his pistols at two of them, and fired two bala that would collide with them. As they did, due to the bullets abilities they exploded, however he just took it as the result of energia colliding with another energy based attack, and decided to simply sonidoe to valter's side to dodge the third. As he appeared next to valter, he was already in the act of kicking valter, with his leg engulfed in a golden flame. His leg whipped across so quickly, and stoped nearly 5 inches from valter, as it did the flames were gone, however a golden orb shot out of his leg and from the charge of the energy began to make a highpitched noise. The orb then exploded in a large cero beam.*

Patada de Cero.....~El balazo~.....!

*The effect of the third bullet still oblivious to him, as he released his attack, his 6th sense alerted him of danger extremely close and coming from behind him. He slightly turned his head and looked out the side of his eye to see that same golden bullet nothing more than 3 feet away. Being that it was so close, and it was so fast, he initiated sonidoe. But not to escape but to augment his speed as he whipped his leg around causing the cero beam to turn into a wave, that collided with the bullet and caused a huge explosion, that if Valter wasn't alfreadcy away from him, would get caught in also.*

AHHHH!!!!

*Lucion screamed as he wwas burned before sonidoing away, he would re-emerge with his arms covering his face and his clothing burned and discheveled with smoke coming from his body. He looked around his eyes filled with rage*

The Cero is a blast attack, and its power at almost any level will essentially overpower that of one of my normal bullets. Thus, more of the energy is moving away from both of us, in the attack arc of your kick.

My bullets only explode with enough energy to immolate a cubic foot of space. You shouldn't be so injured.

DON'T HURT YOURSELF!

Are we agreeing to use the US standards of measurement? Inches, feet, etc.

*Valter raised an eyebrow as Lucion's special shark-like senses allowed him to track the Shinigami's Shunpo, even though he wasn't moving at top speed yet. It was still at a pretty high level, and for Lucion to so easily detect him...*

~His reflexes are incredible...~

*... but his his ideas of Lucion's speed were over estimations. It was actually a bit below his it seemed, and Lucion didn't even seem to be moving as fast as he could either. As Lucion appeared next to him on the left, Valter was hard-pressed to react against such a swift blow. But while the kick approached, Valter leaned back, making his spine look ridiculously right angled. The leg engulfed in flames did not hit him though; it stopped!...*

~Why did he-~

*... but then it exploded into a golden Cero, sweeping over Valter's chest, while smaller jets of the golden energy burned at the inside edges of his white-and-red haori. The Shinigami barely managed to bring his revolver up, so that the Cero ground over the right side of the barrel, causing a terrible shrieking sound to barrage the air around them. Valter clenched his teeth in pain, and instinctively pulling the trigger of his firearm, shooting another bullet past Lucion's right kneecap. As the Arrancar moved, an explosion rocked the area. Valter went limp, knowing the shock wave would carry him somewhat safely away from Lucion, and bent his head up to survey for any possible danger, and in the process noticed that it was only his bullet exploding. After traveling perhaps a meter back, Valter halted and pulled his spine up to a fully erect position, and holding Todesurteil so the right side, that bore the words, "Jesus Christus Ist In Himmel Jetzt," was facing Lucion. While doing so, he deftly flipped the swing-out cylinder from the revolver, and passed his hand over it...*

~All this time, he's predicted my moves. His senses clearly outclass mine, at least defensively. Time to change that...~

*... and six white bullets filled the chambers. Flinging the revolver out to his right side, so that the words, "Verhaftetes Tor Der Hölle," now faced Lucion, the cylinder slickly returned to the firing position because of the momentum. Making sure the movement seemed no different from any other, he continued it so that Todesurteil pulled back to him, with his arm bent and the gun to the right of his chin, pointed up and ready for battle.*
