Arena #8 [Radioactive Wasteland]

Due to decades of the authorities dumping radioactive waste in this wasteland it has become more than dead. Pools of radioactive sludge ooze about the place, making it a hazard to anyone who walks through it. Even if you steer clear of the said pools you will still find yourself exposed to a large amount of toxic radiation.



Hazards include:

• Pools of radioactive slime are littered about the wasteland. If you get too close to one - let alone fall in one - you can say goodbye to your power and hello to a long time in the 4th division.
• The radiation in this arena is not confined to the area around the pools. The entire wasteland is hazardous. As the fight goes on you will find yourself become weaker and weaker, even moreso than usual.

Rules of the Arena:

1.) There will be NO Godmodding.

This includes:
One hit knock outs
Controlling your partner without their permission (includes making your attack hit them or even by just grabbing them)
Not letting any of your opponents blows hurt you
Instant Regeneration
Never taking any damage or losing reiatsu. Reiatsu is NOT LIMITLESS
You have to give your opponent the chance to counter-attack your moves.

2.) No flamming, spamming or more than mild cursing.
3.) No more than one spar at a time. We do have more than one Arena/dojo, so there is no need to have multiple spars in the same place at the same time. However, a single spar with multiple opponents is acceptable.

~Yuudai stood up on the highest elevated hill he could,trying to stay as far away from the toxic waste as he could,though he could still smell and see.Even the air hair a greenish look to it.His rieatsu was hidden,something he'd made into a habit,his hair blew with the winds as well as his shihakusho as he stood,wating for Ookami,his squad member,to arrive.~

"Ugh,how toxic is that stuff...best to keep away." he thought,waiting.

"You know, there really isn't a point to hiding your reiatsu if you're stood on top of the tallest hill," said a voice behind Yuudai. Should he have turned around he would have seen Jinketsu Ookami stood there with his arms crossed and black coat billowing in the wasteland breeze.

The third seat took a moment to look around and take in the sights. Although they weren't quite near the pools of radioactive material... staying in this zone for too long would definitely have an effect on his strength. It would have been best for them to get their fight over with.

"Alright, then," he continued, spreading his legs apart and positioning his arms in front of him, as if expecting a hand-to-hand fight. "Let's go."

"Hm." he mumbled. "It's a habit." he said,his words calm as usual.he didn't bother turning around,as he knew the voice and presence of the man very well by now.

~Knowing that Ookami was his superior and way more experienced,he took the intitiative,hoping the element of surprise was in his favor.He bent over and brought his right leg up behind him in a quick thrust in order to kick his 3rd Seat in the face or torso area.The kick would likely send him flying back,although there wasn't much force put into it.~

The third-seated officer saw the attack coming out of the corner of his eye and acted on reflex.

"My, my... a bit hasty, aren't we?" he asked. As he said this he blocked the kick with the back of his right arm, and then thrust his own left fist forward, aiming to punch Louie in the back - his blind spot.

~After his kick was blocked,he didn't waste much time,flipping forward.Once he landed on his feet,he'd duck down in case Ookami Jinketsu had another attack coming,and slid his left foot across the ground attempting to sweep the man.~

"Just following orders,you said lets go." he mumbled.This was sarcasm,though it probably sounded as Yuudai usually spoke.

"To the letter, hmm?" asked Ookami. He saw Louie duck and make his sweeping kick, and so the tall reaper pounced high into the air to avoid it.

"Alright then, I guess we will fight with haste."

"Chitte Kizutsuzkeru."

A flash of light emitted from both of the third seat's hands, and suddenly a set of weapons materialised onto each one. Three glass knuckle-blades had appeared on his right hand and five long, glass tendrils became attached to each of his left-hand fingers.

"Now that my shikai is unhidden," he announced, still in the air. "We can really start."

With that, he began to descend at a rapid speed, aiming to slash Louie's chest open with his knuckle-blades.

~Yuudai focus some rieatsu in the heel of his feet quickly in order to slide back,but still was not quick enough,three red lines surfaced on his flesh,cuts,though they weren't so deep,they still seeped out blood,like a normal cut you'd get from glass,except three.~

"Haste,I see." he thought. "Junan to Junkou, Mamore to Kuzuse." he mumbled,his still sheathe sword glowing silver as if turning into complete energy before breaking apart and reforming into what looked like gloves or light-weight gauntlet on his hands and arms.

~His rieatsu had substantially increased although he still managed to keep it hidden,it was detectable if you were at most,1ft near him.He dashed at the 3rd seat,throwing a power packed punch at the man's face,although he didn't put much effort into it,he was still moving faster than earlier,and his moves were stronger.~

Ookami smiled at Louie and folded his arms once more, as if letting his guard down.

"Releasing already?" he asked with scepticism.

When the fifth seat threw his punch it seemed to pass completely through the dark-haired reaper's face! With a last grin his image faded away into the air as if it had never been there at all.

Ookami then reappeared behind Louie, hoping that his ghosting technique would have thrown him off. He wasted no time in making a firm stab with his right-hand knuckle-blades for the opponent's back.

"What the heck?" he thought,unsure of what had just happened,everything seeming to move in slow-motion at that moment.

~Ookami had vanished,or faded,reappearing behind him,stabbing him in the back,and this time,it was serious.~

"Uah." he mumbled,shocked and pained,though his face was still emotionless. "What the hell just happened?.." he thought,falling to the ground,but holding himself up with his hands and knees. "What was that?" he thought.

~He noticed his own movements were different,not bad or good,just..different,then he waondered what his 3rd Seat had done just now.He got up off his hands,now on his knees as pain surged through his back.~

"Why do they always go for the back,such an obvious move,yet people like me fail to block it." he thought.

~He straightened his index as if he were pointing,but then he turned it the opposite way,facing Ookami's legs most likely.~

"Hado #1.Sho." he mumbled,hoping to push the man away,or make him fall.
