I'm Fred, and I'm the Thirteenth Division's mascot. I've been an honorary part of this Division for two years, and there's very little I don't know about the members here.

Trust me, there's nothing that can be kept secret from a scuttling scorpion like me.

You're from the Academy? Ah, I see. That place where people learn to wave swords and make fireworks with their hands. Very well, I suppose that's a good place to start. A lot of that stuff goes on here too, so it seems like you've come to the right place.

Have you taken a look around? Most of the members don't bite, though I have to admit, a few of them might nibble on your toes if you're not paying attention. Still, those things can wait till later. For now, you want to know how to become a member of the Thirteenth, right?

Well, let me see.

Firstly, all prospective members of 13th are expected to have made at least 100 non-spam posts around the forum. This means taking part in discussions and other threads, and if you've already managed to get to know a few people on the site, even better. It's preferred if you have been a member of BA for at least two weeks, too.

Thirteenth prides itself on its close chemistry between members. They are all a random bunch of crazies a lot of the time, but they are closeknit crazies who look out for each other. Being eager to become a part of that friendly insanity is vital for membership in the Thirteenth Division.

Thirteenth Division is both a RP and an OT division, with options available for both types of members. Creativity in particular is a skill valued here, as is originality of opinion.

Take a few moments to browse around the division. Don't be afraid to talk to the members (forget what I said about being nibbled earlier, really, I was joking) and ask them about the place as a whole. You may post in the HQ and get a feel for the place, if you so wish. If this is the place you want to be, then it's time to place an application.

The Division Captain and Vice Captain want most of all to see applicants with real enthusiasm to be part of Thirteenth Division, and they're always looking for that little spark that might just belong in Random Town. Try and make your application as original and as full as you can and don't be afraid to ask the Captain or Vice Captain if there's anything you're not sure of. They will always try to answer.

Most of all, those silly shinigami who scuttle around these parts really want their members to be happy in the division. And, even though it's only the word of a scorpion hollow, if this division is your right fit then you've made an awesome choice.
