{Arena #2} ~Apocalypic Wasteland~

*as S was about 3/4 the way back to setting down where he started, he felt a jolt in his pivot point....which was his zan stuck into the rooftop.....and quickly pulled his zan from the concrete. that made him continue out toward Zadoc's left and Dark's right....and then he disappeared over the edge of the building, finally landing on the ground....he quickly jumped down into the empty river basen and walked under the bridge and immediately lowered his reiatsu to next to nothing.

"well that certainly made me heed my own advice about going up in the air...
well, technically i did have footing with my zan, but since that was hit.....bleh..."

*S sheathed his zan and kicked back leaning against the embankment under the bridge, wondering how long it would take for them to find him,
or get close enough for him to attack.

[Zadoc]

"Hey Dark, I have an idea."

*He walked over to his recruit friend, and whispered in his ear. The enthusiastic shinigami didn't wait long to pursue S, he jumped after where his vice captain had jumped and down. He took a couple of stumbles, not liking the feel of where the river had once been under his feet.*

"Bleh, this is kinda nasty."

He looked both ways, looking towards the bridge and then in the opposite direction. By chance he chose the bridge. He slowly walked in the direction of the bridge holding a steady defensive stance.


"S-sama, I'm coming for you."

Zadoc spoke in a rather taunting voice, hoping his plan would work.

*S suddenly allowed his reiatsu to flow and let himself be discovered.

"yep, good instincts Zadoc.......now you should hone in on your target and take it out....."

[Zadoc]

"I thank you for giving me advice S-sama, but all wise predators know that the cornered prey will fight twice as hard. Though with our differences in power levels, it appears the mouse has the elephant in a position that's quite favorable. The elephant obviously has the upper hand, but hopefully he views the smaller courageous one noble enough to stand up. Now then, Bakudo number twenty-one Sekienton!"


A blast of smoke appeared covering Zadoc's movements as he charged towards S hoping that the smoke would cover his motions enough, but was aware that S could sense his reiatsu which he wasn't trying to keep in but was far from perfectly performing. He striked at S's head with his elbow, taking advantage of the fact it was the hardest point of his body to use in combat.

*S followed Zadoc's reiatsu through the smoke and watched him attack even as he was still in the smoke.

"yare yare....when will people figure out i am an ace at picking up reiatsu...." S thought to himself.

he drew his zan in an upwards motion, with the edge facing out, as Zadoc's elbow came in towards S.

"that is your second mistake Zadoc......and elbow is a very close quarters combat move that you should use after you have already engaged in Hakuda like combat......not start out with it....."

*S said as he swept his blade up and out keeping Zadoc at a distance and hopefully slicing his arm off below the elbow.

Zadoc soon came to realize the error of his ways, and used his zanpaktou which was being held in his right arm to separate his own left arm from S's sword. His defense sadly was not comparable to S's offence, and his teacher's zanpaktou was managed to slice into his left arm. The eleventh seat tensed up as his skin was slit open, it moderately agitated him due to a past wound he had received to the same arm that had often brought shame to him.

"Dang it."



He said shortly as he jumped back crouching down feeling the wound on his arm. He rested the hand of his wounded arm on the ground. Unless S was paying close attention, he would not realize that Zadoc had scooped up a handful of dirt. The young shinigami was confident, feeling slightly positive that his tutor was actually tutoring him and not just cutting him up.

"Thanks for the advice on the elbow, I'll take it to heart."

Zadoc spoke sincerely, truly grateful for the advice his vice captain had given him.


"Now we shall continue our little duel. And don't take it the wrong way, but I think everything deserves a second chance! "

He quickly flipped his zanpaktou around in his right hand so that the tsuba was against his pinky finger and he charged at S feinting another elbow strike but instead tosses dirt at the vice-captains eyes hoping to blind him. As soon as the dirt left his hand he disappeared in shunpo and reappeared at the vice-captains left side, reaching to grab onto his left arm and made a stabbing motion towards his elbow.

*S felt his blade make contact, and then brought it down and held it with just
his right hand, blade up, facing Zadoc. he noticed Zadoc scrounging around and smiled.

"ahhhh, i see you will do whatever it takes........good man.....
nothing is dirty when it comes to a fight....."

*S kept his blade in place as Zadoc attacked him once again, and then turned away as he saw dirt being flung into his eyes.....fortunately as he turned to the left only his right eye was clouded with dirt......he then saw Zadoc
at his left (since he had turned his head to the left to avoid the dirt he was already looking in that direction).

as he felt Zadoc grab ahold of his left arm, he smiled with only his left eye open
and then quietly said (as he pointed his left palm at Zadoc

"Bakudou no Kyuu (#9) - Geki"

*a flash of red kidou shot forth around Zadoc as he was bringing his blade
down towards S's left arm......

"man, everyone seems to forget about Kidou.......but i'll make them remember."

*with his right eye slowly working out the dirt and dust, S lifted his zan (still in
his right hand) and swung down towards Zadoc's left shoulder, this time seriously trying to take off Zadoc's left arm from the shoulder.

*As dark watched the fight he remained pinned down. Still shaking and rolling he kept attempting to break free. Out of no where his arms plopped to the ground, dark smiled as he pushed himself off the ground and stood up. Bending down to pick up his Katana.*

"Zadoc distracted S and he let his grip go, hmm gotta get back into the action."

*As Zadoc came to him and whispered in his ear Dark nodded smiling he lifted his katana and placed it on his shoulder. Awaiting the right moment dark shunpoed behind S as he swung to attack Zadoc, Dark lifted his katana in the air and swung down heavily aiming at S Right shoulder.*

*S smiled at Zadoc as he felt Dark's reiatsu approach him. suddenly dropping his blade down on his right shoulder, S quickly grabbed Zadoc
by the collar of his shihakusho and pivoted on his left foot, and moved Zadoc
into the space he was just in and where Dark was about to cut down on....

S then performed a ride side kick aimed at Zadoc's chest/stomach so that
even if Dark was able to hold off on his attack in time, Zadoc would hopefully be kicked into Dark, and also hopefully take some damage.

"good idea, the whole pincer attack thing.....but i gotta say, its kinda like chess, you never want to have one piece in front of another b/c then its guaranteed on of the two pieces will be taken. and with Zadoc in a Bakudou
it probably would have been better to fire a Hadou at me from my side so that it wouldnt hit Zadoc even if i moved, or to have used a Bakudou to prevent me from cutting down on Zadoc."

*said S as he jumped up back onto the street level standing on the edge of the empty river. he continued to let his zan rest on his right shoulder, with the tip pointing back and to his left.

[Zadoc]

*As a stunned Zadoc gets tossed around by S and kicked in Dark's direction, his face is filled with a sharp pain even though he tried his best not to show it. He hoped Dark's zanpaktou would not piece his body from the kick from S in that direction.*

That's really the best I've got, I don't really have much control over what's going on.
