Pokemon RP- Those Unovian Days: Part One, The Begining

Professor Juniper awoke early that day with a smile on her face. Today was the day that new Trainers would come to her lab to receive their first Pokemon. She got dressed and walked down the stairs to the research area of her lab, where she stored all the Pokemon eggs that would hatch in the next few minutes.

Dan crawled out of bed, and got dressed. Looking out of his window towards the Professor's lab, he saw the young Tepig he had met 7 years previous. The yellow colored Tepig was sill young, it lived in captivaty with the other Pokemon since he had brought it to the Professor.

It had been an abnormally hot day. Dan had been riding his bike around in the tall grass that day, on the way to Accumula Town. The grass shook madly and a wild Scolipede hopped out. The giant centipede leapt at him, obviously enraged for some reason. Out of the blue, a small Tepig crashed into its side, engulfed in the blue fire of Flame Charge. The surprise attack sent the Scolipede running, but not before its spiny appendages had dug into the Tepig’s side. It vanished from the young boy’s sight. The Tepig smiled up at him and fell to the ground, succumbing to Poison Point. Dan had quickly grabbed the injured Pokemon and ran to Professor Juniper’s lab. The Tepig was cured thanks to the Professor’s quick work, but Dan promised to become a Pokemon trainer and repay his debt to that Tepig by traveling with it.

"Today's the day."

He left his room and walked casually downstairs and out the door before breaking inot a run, wanting to be the first one at Juniper's lab.

The lab doors burst open seconds after the Pokemon eggs hatched. Juniper turned around and smiled at her neighbor.

"Hello, Dan. Are you finally ready to travel with Tepig?"

Dan smiled and nodded.

"Of course. You have that Pokeball?"

The professor dug through herpockets and tossed a small sphere to Dan

Taking the ball, Dan thanked the professor and ran outside, where the shiny Tepig dashed at him and gave him a hug.

"Ready, Ignis?"

Kimmy shifted in her spot on the tree she sat in. Her mind racing, she hadn't slept all night due to anticipation to what was to come today. Today she was going to get her first pokemon from the professor, the pokemon that she was going to spend the rest of her time with. The pokemon that was going to be her bestfriend!

She lightly jumped off of the branch holding down her purple dress so it wouldn't fly everywhere. The stinging from her feet landing on the ground from such a high perch woke her up slightly. She brushed off her back and front to make sure the branch left no excess word on her attire.

"Better get this over with" she spoke to herself with a slight sigh, she still didn't have the slightest clue on the pokemon that she would choose to be her own. She knew it had to be tough, and a fighter. But thats as far as she thought into it, her always procrastinating about everything didn't help her either.


Caught up in her own thoughts she forgot she was just standing at the base of the tree, slowly she started off to the lab. Her feet knew the way well, she always walked around the lab. Looking around at the pokemon trying to find that pokemon that would be claimed as hers.

She took a deep breath as she made her way to the door as it opened the cold air shook her out of her trance like state. Kimmy walked forward until she stood in front of the Professor.

"Hi....so I'm here for my Pokemon?" she said not looking up to meet the professors eyes. Which was something she always did. Never looking into the eyes always meant that she would never see the judgment the sent at her.

Juniper heard the soundsof footsteps and turned around. Standing there was a young girl.

The second new Trainer of this generation...

"Hello there. What's your name? What Pokemon are you interested in?"

Slayer was awakened by his grandfather pounding on the door.

Get up!! you are going to be late.

When Slayer heard his grandfather his eyes opened immediately. He didn't want to be late to get his pokemon, he was afraid that if he was late he wouldn't get one.

I'm coming grandpa.

Slayer said loudly as he was getting dressed. Slayer runned down the stairs skipping three at a time. when he got downstairs he grabbed his bag with his pok'egear and picked up the 5 potions his grand father had bought for him the previous day.

Slayer walked outside it was a bright sunny day with a slight easterly breeze about 2 mph, the temperature was good 75 degrees. Slayer left his granpa's house at a full sprint on his way to professor junipers laboratory.

When Slayer went inside of the lab he walked over and stood next to kimmy.

Hello I'm slayer, i'm from anville town.

Slayer said bowing slightly as was custom for his clan.

Kimmy looked up at the Professor through her bangs.

"I'm Kimmy, and i dont really know what pokemon I want. I was hoping you would help me with that" She said, slightly stuttering over her words. She mentaly cursed herself for being so self conscious about herself.

Kimmy looked back up at the Professor, trying to be for confident standing straight and looking into her eyes behind her hair.

Hello Kimmy nice to meet you.

Slayer said to Kimmy as he waited in line for his pokemon. Slayer knew which one he wanted, a Charmander. When slayer heard kimmy say something about not knowing which pokemon she wanted, slayer walked up to make a suggestion.

Well Oshawott is pretty powerful and i think it would fit you perfectly.

Slayer said to Kimmy with a smile under his mask hoping his suggestion had helped her.

Juniper smiled warmly at Kimmy. Her head turned and she flashed that same warm smile at the new Trainer.

"Kimmy, I think I know just what fits you,"

The professor eyed the girl one last time, noting that the way her bangs seemed to cover her whole face reminded her of a certain Pokemon.

"Slayer, what Pokemon do you want?"

Dan walked back through the doors of the lab, aiming to thank the professor, but ran smack into Slayer.

"Sorry, man. Name's Dan."

The pokeball Juniper had given him fell from his belt and the yellow colored Tepig popped out.

Hello Dan i'm Slayer. Oh and i would like a Charmander if ya have one.

Slayer said to Dan.

I'm from a ninja clan north of anville town. I came to stay with my grandpa two days ago.

Slayer said to Dan and Kimmy.

Juniper nodded and walked int the encloure that was filled with newly hatched Pokemon.

"Dan! I see you and Tepig are getting along. Can you two come back and help me?"

Dan dropped to the ground and grabbed his pokeball as Tepig, placing the latter on his shoulder.

"NIce to meet you, Slayer."

Nodding to the Prof., Dan spoke.

"Of course. Come on Ignis!"

The two ran out to the enclosure and returned with Juniper carrying two Pokemon and two pokeballs.

Juniper held out the first Pokemon and pokeball to Slayer.

"Here you go."

Dan held out the second to Kimmy.

"The Prof. said you'd be a perfect match for this little one."

Kimmy pretty much ignored the boy that held the Pokemon. She grabbed tha ball and stared at her new partner. As soon as she saw him she fell in love. It was as if everything was perfect for her. Her excitement made her practically jump for joy!

The Cubone was perfect! Kimmy was in awe, but that went away as she tackle hugged her new pokemon. As if it were hesitent the pokemon sniffed her, then nuzzled into her neck. As soon as she say it she knew what to call him.


"Thank you so much!!!!! Khaos...his name is Khoas!" she said in excitement. As soon as she let go of her pokemon it started to growl at the other pokemon.
