Description

Body Strength: am building quite a massive strength! Blows empowered with strength alone could damage concrete. They'd leave some trace on my hand/foot but it wouldn't be breaking it.

Power (Reiatsu amount): I belong to the low tier of Vice-Captain class fighters in terms of Reiatsu. A high-tier 3rd Seat would rival against me in terms of Reiatsu.

Kidou / Reiatsu Control:

• All Shinigamis can do Soul burial, so do I.
• As far as Kidou is concerned:
  • Academic level: Your kidou spell will not shatter a hollow mask.
    Expect Renji-style failure if your spell exceeds #40.
  • Basic level: For the desired effect, do not bypass the incantation if you are unable to cast it at advanced level.
    You can cast up to kidou spell #32.
  • Advanced level: The spell will be spot on if you master it. Otherwise, it will be casted at less than a third of its full potential.
    You can cast up to kidou spell #23.
  • Master: You can choose yourself the strength of the spell. The spell might reach its full potential as well.

Hakuda (Hand to Hand): I have reached near-mastery over the art of fighting barehanded. I could definitely beat most people, maybe even masters if I am careful enough.

Zanjutsu (Swordsmanship): I am better than many in this domain and I know it. Despite the presence of some few masters who can teach me advanced techniques of fighting with blades (or any thing that has a cutting edge), my style is already developed.

Mobility (Shunpo and Reflexes): I have a speed that many low seats would consider as a feat, yet it's only average compared to a higher potential.If I were to compare a Shunpo usage between me and a quicker person, the quicker person would quite beat me at the exercise. Shunpo's distance and rate are average.

Wielder's control over his/her zanpakuto: As far as Shikai is concerned:

• All of my Shikai abilities, (2 passive, 2 active) are fully developed.

As far as Bankai is concerned:

• Ability #1 is fully developed. (Passive)
• Ability #2 is not fully developed but is not unstable either. (Active)
• I have just unlocked ability #3. It is very immature and needs development. (Active)

  I belong to the high tier of Recruit class fighters in terms of Reiatsu. I would rival against a low tier 20th seat in terms of Reiatsu.

  • In addition to Soul Burial, I potentially can fire up to Bakudo/Hadou #12. The spells from 3 to 12 require, in order to hit, full focus on my behalf when I fire them.
  • If I add all the spells I fire before passing out (if fired at full power), it gives 2.
  • I can hide my reiatsu completely.
  • I can channel a little bit of Reiatsu in parts of my body, inaccurately.

  Brawler. Basic punches/kicks which could leave many openings.

On his side, a straight edged tanto - a small sword with a 25 cm blade - resides. The blade itself is simple and has no special engravings or features. The tsuba is an octagon with a ring, and the handle is finished with polished stone.
What makes this blade remarkable, is that while there are no special features to this knife, there are also no flaws - hinting toward something ... supernatural.

Initial Description: Qube is a slightly below average size, has long dark brown hair and just like all other shinigami, is clothed in black. His hair is kept in a tail using a red headband with a kanji on it. On his right wrist there's a scar, created from a burn. His hands are those of a working man's.

Alternate Description: Qube actually is an anthropomorphic boar. though his general shape (size, physique, ...) is the same, he's actually bold, has larger pointy ears, an upward nose and two tusks. For him it didn't really matter how he looked, but others made a big deal of it. That is why, when his shinigami powers awakened, he crafted a weak but persistent illusion kidou that gives him the look that he is now. The kidou requires
him to have permanent ink markings (disguised as tattoos) on his back and left arm.

The scar on his right wrist he received before he became a shinigami, when he worked in a forge.
Any illusion breaking kidou reveals Qube's true visage.

Character: Qube has a strong sense of duty and tries to follow the way of Bushido. He also loves food (especially anything with mushrooms), and his hobbies are crafting,

Shikai:
When revealing Kanzenkin's shikai, the short sword transforms into a 4 meter chain, floating in a quarter circle around Qube's body. One end of the chain floats adjacent to Qube's hand, then it cicles around his back; following his arm, and the chain ends adjacent to his other hand.
On one end, there's a blund weight, on the other, there's a weight with a 3 inch blade.

Ability: 'meiyo no jūryō' (weight of honor)
Type: passive
Effect: Much like Byakuya's Senbon Sakura, or Jirōbō Ikkanzaka's Tsunzakigarasu, Kanzenkin floats. the chain follows Qube's mental commands or can be directed with motions, moving faster.
Mechanically: normally the Zanjutsu rating is used for fighting with Kanzenkin. When Qube is immobilized, the value is reduced to the minimum of Zanjutsu and Zanpakutou control. When used as ranged attack, it's speed equal's Qube's Mobility rating.

Ability: 'Rei' ("respect")
Type: activated (but persistant)
Cost: no reitatsu to turn into a weapon, 10% reiatsu to strangle
Effect: as the distance between links in the chain reduce, Kanzenkin becomes shorter and less flexable. On the one hand this allows it to crush when entangling something (or suffocate when entangled around the neck), but also it allows Kanzenkin to shape itself to any blund weapon - it can take the general shape of a bo-staff (a 2 meter staff), bokken (wooden training katana) or chain gauntlet.

Ability: 'Hanashin' (water explosion)
(hanabi (lit. flower+fire) means fireworks. this name is soaked flower
Type: activated
Cost: about 30% reiatsu
Effect: Kanzenkin start to glow ever so slightly, as though metal that's being heated. the next impact (either the end of he chain, or an attack while in 'Rei') creates a burst of water - an explosion up to 2 ft radius. While the presure is strong enough to even crack stone, normally, the explosion causes little to no damage to Qube and Kanzenkin.

Ability: 'makoto' (honesty)
Type: passive
Effect: by sending out an invistible kinetic field, Kanzenkin is aware of almost all activity within 5 meters of Qube. Because of that, Qube has, in addition to his normal sight, a sight much like Tousen. Attacking him from behind, using a smoke or invisibility kidou or a peper grenade are all futile techniques.

Appearance: Kanzenkin is a veteran warrior and craftsman. he's quite muscled, but his most apparent feature is that he has no face (he has a head, but no eyebrows, eyes or mouth) - though this does not limit him from somehow seeing or speaking.

Personallity: Kanzenkin is a no nonsense warrior, teacher in the school of hard knocks and devote to the seven virtues of bushido (Rectitude (義 gi), Courage (勇 yū), Benevolence (仁 jin), Respect (礼 rei), Honesty (誠 makoto), Honor (名誉 meiyo), Loyalty (忠義 chūgi)).
He's also a philosopher and prefers analogies based on water.

Will is a spirit that lives in Qube's mindscape, and can turn into small orbs of flame that orbits him, preventing his foe from getting too close by burning them. He dissapears upon contact.

A true boxer will tell you the power of his fist comes from his legs. Forcing the muscles in his legs rotates his hips. Rotating his hips slingshots his upper torso. accelerating his shoulder launches his arm - resulting in a lighting fast bone crushing strike. The Jade Boar style combines Hohō (the shinigami's footwork - most famous for its shumpo) with Hakuda. By using short ranged, but lightning fast, leg movements, it perfects certain moves from the mortal realm

Technique one: butagami setsujukiba (the boar god intercepts with his tusks)
In response to a slashing attack, Use a left foot forward hohō. This widens your stance, making your body natuaraly lower then before - increasing the time needed for the slash to reach you. From there you use your left hand to block the hand or arm holding the weapon - negating the slash attack. Using your body's momentum you then position your right in front of your opponent, and use your right fist to launch a right hook targeting your opponents abdomen.

Oyobi, who spit the heavens
Oyobi looks like a typical japanese Kyūdō bow, made of Blue-ish wood. It shoots arrows the form of straight transparent blue lines.
When activating oyobi, a quiver appears on Qube's back. It contains three (special) arrows. If he reaches, a transparent blue arrow also appears, generated by his own reiatsu.

Type: Passive.
Kyudo is a martial art. A true master can incorporate similarities from other combat to improve his archery
Effect: To use Oyobi, Qube may use his zanjutsu and zanpakutou control scores.

Name: Wildschwein Pfeil - Boar's arrow - 豚の矢印 (buta no yajirushi)
Type: active (limited to once per spar)
Arrow: A purple arrow with tanslucent fletching
Effect: When shot, the arrow bursts into a reishi boar (aprox. 2 ft tall). With the speed of Qube's shumpo, it mercylessly keeps charging for Qube's opponent and is able to fly when needed. When it finally hits his target it explodes, with a power determined by Qube's total reiatsu amount.

Name: Regen Pfeil - rain arrow - 雨の矢印 (Ame no yajirushi)
Type: active (limited to once per spar)
Arrow: A dark blue arrow with yellow fletching
Effect: When fired, the arrow nearly instantly dissapears. 6 posts later a rain of arrows appears above Qube's opponents, creating a nearly inescapable torrent of arrows

  Training always pays off, doesn't it? I know it for I am discovering the effects of it. My strikes are harder, my motions have more devastating potential behind them... Yet it's not enough to be in a World's Strongest Men/Women contest.

At his hip, a straight edged tanto - a small sword with a 25 cm blade - resides. The blade itself is simple and has no special engravings or features. The tsuba is an octagon with a ring, and the handle is finished with polished stone.
What makes this blade remarkable, is that while there are no special features to this knife, there are also no flaws - hinting toward something ... supernatural.

Kanzenkin

Appearance: Kanzenkin is a veteran warrior and craftsman. he's quite muscled, but his most apparent feature is that he has no face (he has a head, but no eyebrows, eyes or mouth) - though this does not limit him from somehow seeing or speaking.

Personallity: Kanzenkin is a no nonsense warrior, teacher in the school of hard knocks and devote to the seven virtues of bushido (Rectitude (義 gi), Courage (勇 yū), Benevolence (仁 jin), Respect (礼 rei), Honesty (誠 makoto), Honor (名誉 meiyo), Loyalty (忠義 chūgi)).
He's also a philosopher and prefers analogies based on water.
He's expects Qube to follow these laws as well ...

Spirit world: A serene pond, in the middle of the forest. At its shore, there's a stone anvil (where Kanzenkin works). Aside from speech, the only sound able to be produced is that of bamboo. In reflection of the pond, Qube can see himself in the real word.

Shikai:
When revealing Kanzenkin's shikai, the short sword transforms into a 4 meter chain, floating in a quarter circle around Qube's body. One end of the chain floats adjacent to Qube's hand, then it cicles around his back; following his arm, and the chain ends adjacent to his other hand.
On one end, there's a blund weight, on the other, there's a weight with a 3 inch blade.

meiyo no jūryō - weight of honor

Type: passive
Effect: Much like Byakuya's Senbon Sakura, or Jirōbō Ikkanzaka's Tsunzakigarasu, Kanzenkin floats. the chain follows Qube's mental commands or can be directed with motions, moving faster.
Mechanically: normally the Zanjutsu rating is used for fighting with Kanzenkin. When Qube is immobilized, the value is reduced to the minimum of Zanjutsu and Zanpakutou control. When used as ranged attack, it's speed equal's Qube's Mobility rating.

Rei - respect

Type: activated (but persistant)
Cost: no reitatsu to turn into a weapon, 10% reiatsu to strangle
Effect: as the distance between links in the chain reduce, Kanzenkin becomes shorter and less flexable. On the one hand this allows it to crush when entangling something (or suffocate when entangled around the neck), but also it allows Kanzenkin to shape itself to any blund weapon - it can take the general shape of a bo-staff (a 2 meter staff), bokken (wooden training katana) or chain gauntlet.

Hanashin - water explosion

(hanabi (lit. flower+fire) means fireworks. this name is soaked flower
Type: activated
Cost: about 30% reiatsu
Effect: Kanzenkin start to glow ever so slightly, as though metal that's being heated. the next impact (either the end of he chain, or an attack while in 'Rei') creates a burst of water - an explosion up to 2 ft radius. While the presure is strong enough to even crack stone, normally, the explosion causes little to no damage to Qube and Kanzenkin.

Makoto - honesty

Type: passive
Effect: by sending out an invistible kinetic field, Kanzenkin is aware of almost all activity within 5 meters of Qube. Because of that, Qube has, in addition to his normal sight, a sight much like Tousen. Attacking him from behind, using a smoke or invisibility kidou or a peper grenade are all futile techniques.

Quincy bow
Oyobi, who spit the heavens

Oyobi looks like a typical japanese Kyūdō bow, made of Blue-ish wood. It shoots arrows the form of straight transparent blue lines.
When activating oyobi, a quiver appears on Qube's back. It contains three (special) arrows. If he reaches, a transparent blue arrow also appears, generated by his own reiatsu.

Erfahren - Style Transcention - 适応 (Tekiō)

Type: Passive.
Kyudo is a martial art. A true master can incorporate similarities from other combat to improve his archery
Effect: To use Oyobi, Qube may use his zanjutsu and zanpakutou control scores.

Wildschwein Pfeil - Boar's arrow - 豚の矢印 (buta no yajirushi)

Type: active (limited to once per spar)
Arrow: A purple arrow with tanslucent fletching
Effect: When shot, the arrow bursts into a reishi boar (aprox. 2 ft tall). With the speed of Qube's shumpo, it mercylessly keeps charging for Qube's opponent and is able to fly when needed. When it finally hits his target it explodes, with a power determined by Qube's total reiatsu amount.

Regen Pfeil - rain arrow - 雨の矢印 (Ame no yajirushi)

Type: active (limited to once per spar)
Arrow: A dark blue arrow with yellow fletching
Effect: When fired, the arrow nearly instantly dissapears. 6 posts later a rain of arrows appears above Qube's opponents, creating a nearly inescapable torrent of arrows

Null Pfeil - Void arrow - 零の矢印 (rei no yajirushi)

Type: active (limited to once per spar)
Arrow: A white arrow with black fletching
By disrupting reishi particles in the air, this arrow can be used to disrupt Kidō, Cero, or other reishi techniques.
Effect: it blocks the spell is being fired (ex. shooting it in a Sōkatsui pertects you from the wave), or negate a spell that is already active (ex. shooting at at a ally who's trapped by Bakudō9 Geki, frees him)
This arrow consumes an amount of Qube's reiatsu equals to the amount that was poured into spell it negated.
After use, the arrow instantly burns up in flames (the color of the fire is dependant of the color of the reiatsu color of the Kidō/Cero/... user)

Will is a spirit that lives in Qube's mindscape, and can turn into small orbs of flame that orbits him, preventing his foe from getting too close by burning them. He dissapears upon contact.

Golden Shackles: (7th Division Ruins - labyrinth (minotaur) )
Golden braces that allow the user to temporarily turn into a humanoid boar (reflavored from minotaur) for 20 seconds per day, greatly increasing their physical strength and kidou.

Technique one: butagami setsujukiba (the boar god intercepts with his tusks)

In response to a slashing attack, Use a left foot forward hohō. This widens your stance, making your body natuaraly lower then before - increasing the time needed for the slash to reach you. From there you use your left hand to block the hand or arm holding the weapon - negating the slash attack. Using your body's momentum you then position your right in front of your opponent, and use your right fist to launch a right hook targeting your opponents abdomen.

Qube
7th Division 5th seat

Description: Qube is a young man, measuring over 1m70, and weighting around 80 kg. He's relatively well muscled (think Chad). He has long dark brown hair and just like all other shinigami, is clothed in black. His hair is kept in a tail using a red headband with a kanji on it. His hands are those of a working man's. If checked, one will find tatoo's on his back and left arm.
On his right wrist there's a scar, created from a burn. He received this before he became a shinigami, when he worked in a forge.

Illusion Piercing Description: Qube actually is an anthropomorphic boar. though his general shape (size, physique, ...) is the same, but he's actually bold, has larger pointy ears, an upward nose and two tusks. For him it didn't really matter how he looked, but others made a big deal of it. That is why, when his shinigami powers awakened, he crafted a weak but persistent illusion kidou that gives him the look that he is now. The kidou requires him to have permanent ink markings (disguised as tattoos) on his back and left arm.
Any illusion breaking kidou reveals Qube's true visage.

Demeanor: Qube has a strong sense of duty and tries to follow the way of Bushido. He also loves food (especially anything with mushrooms), and his hobbies are crafting, exploring the wilds and training. He dislikes crowded and chaotic places.

Technique two: butagokko tsumujikaze (the uncatchable boar - cyclone attack)
butagokko is a pun on onigokko (or tag)

Usually, when attacked, you find yourself close to the enemy, but wanting to be on a different spot the you currently are. This technique starts with moving your center of balance backward, followed up by a backward right foot hohō (which is your back leg), positioning it to your left, as far in as possible. This puts you out of your opponents line of attack, adjacent, but with your back towards your him, and your center of gravity in front of you. This would make you fall if you did not perform the second part of the technique. Now, you use a forward left foot hohō. It once again relocates you (if your enemy would try and attack your back), and together with your already rotating momentum creating a lightning fast rotation. Depending on the distance of your opponent you can use that spin to execute a devestating side kick or obliterating knee attack.

Technique three: butagami asobu (the boar god plays)

Every object has a breaking point. A point, when touched, that makes the object explode in a rain of shrapnell. Legend says that when the boar god found out where the point was, he invented a game about it. The rules of it are long lost, but it is believed that this game was what caused the seperated of South America and Africa during the birth of the world. The technique, while extremely powerfull, has some dark downsides. One, this point is extremely small and difficutt to hit, making it virtually impossible to hit on a moving object, And two, the user, touching the object, is always at the center of the explosion, making him the target of the technique itself. While training in this technique boost resistance against it, it still hurts ...

Hakuda Minimum: 65
Hakuda Cost: -9 (representing the strain on the body of being in the explosion)
Effect: By simply touching the target with the tip of your index finger, this techique shatters up to a cubic ft of material (which might be the entire object, or just a part of it where you touched it).
This cubic ft of material breaks and explodes in all directions in a hail of shrapnell, which is can cause serious harm to anyone in a 3 ft radius.
Target:a single immobile non-living solid object (such as a rock, wall, or an unattended weapon lying on the floor).

• As a zanpakutou is part of a shinigami, they are not considered non-living, and thus lacks a breaking point.
• Items that consist entirely out of spiritual energy (such as most kidō (ex. Bakudō 4 or Hadō 90) or the blade of a seele sneider) also don't have a breaking point.
• Solid Items made by kidō however (being bakudō 37, 73, 75 and 99) do - however, touching the breakpoint might be impossible as bakudō 75 and 99 bind your arms
