Hello. The HRM (Holistic Roleplay Model) is a small program which generates a descriptive profile for your BA Character. It is based on BA's principle RPing rule: Equal seats = Equal power. It uses an extremely simple yet extremely intuitive system of checks and balances. Unlike other systems there are no 'numbers' in your profile. Everything is based on your seat and how you set the scales of your character's abilities and powers.

My aim was to create a simple system, which can be used immediately by the beginning RPer. Its layout and workings are sleek and easy to understand. Nevertheless the HRM is both truer to the Canon and truer to BA's original rule that equal seats are of equal power than other existing systems. Ergonomics, canon true descriptions, fair and balanced powers and of course a varied RP were the vocal points of its development.

What makes it different from other RPing systems is the lack of numbers (except for the checks and balance system your computer needs to keep track of the descriptions) in your profile and a relaxed yet thorough focus on descriptive RP.

You will find that underneath the deceptively simple and neat layout the HRM system is immensely complex, providing a solid a RPing base for both the beginner as the advanced RPer. Nevertheless, there is always room for improvement. Comments, suggestions and bug-finding are always welcome here.

From what I've seen, it is more balanced, and leaves less room for arguing over tiny details. I definitely approve of it. To be honest Nef, I'd much rather see this used more often than the RYC. No offense to WA. His work was the staple point of the divisions for ages for a reason.

But, it's nice to change things up, and this couldn't have gotten much better.

And I know it'll be asked by others, so I'm going to answer it here.

Strength is gone because the amount of reiatsu you have determines it. More reiatsu = more strength. Simple as that.

As a member of the first division to have the honour of testing it out and bug-running, I can honestly say the division will continue to use the HRM as opposed to the RYC as, I'm pretty sure I can speak for the division when I say this, it allows for a much more flexible RP. Keep up the good work, Stef.

The 11th started with the RYC and now we're starting with the HRM.

I just checked out the test profiles you guys have over at the 11th, and compared to the RYC, this is way easier to understand.

I already downloaded it... but the "Generate Profile" tab is missing.

Just press enter whenever you're done. It will create a profile automatically. ^_^ I heard that with some windows font settings the label stating: 'When done press enter' doest appear properly.

This is really cool. RYC can get hella confusing most of the time. HRM is way better cause woot! less numbers. And it's very detailed. Me gusta.

From what I know, my division doesn't really rely on this kind of stuff, but this is just too awesome, so I'm gonna force my captain and VC to have this at our division.

Genius. I downloaded the HRM software and put it through a few hoops, and its just wonderful. The descriptions are clear cut and easy to take in. While most of my abilities are tailored around RYC ratings, it wont pose too much of a problem to adapt them to the HRM.

I would like to see an Arrancar setup, as on the beta there's only allowance for Vizards and Shinigami. That aside, and with due respect to the timeless RYC, I think the age of the HRM is now.

Yea, when I first looked at it I noticed that it was easy to read. My next thought was when I remembered when I'm sparring someone and its always some little detail we go by that now we don't have to anymore.=. In the end, I don't think its better than RYC but it certainly is a great step up.

But I don't understand why strength is gone. Reiatsu shouldn't determine how much physical strength someone has. Physical strength and reiatsu strength are totally different, right?

Yes they are but physical strength that's humanly possible has no impact on the fight. Someone with a skinny body but massive reiatsu can easily block attacks from enemies with huge muscles like it was nothing. Think about the huge hollow with the giant muscular arms pounding away at Aizen but Aizen blocks it with an open hand-palm.

Also Ichigo blocks that gate guardian whose taller and broader than a house with much ease. Why? Reiatsu. So you can have a very strong body from your appearance description if you want but it doesn't affect combat.

That said, if you had for example a Resurreccion which gives you a hulking body then one of your constant abilities (passives) could be to make your physical strength grow far beyond what is naturally possible, then is would have an impact on the fight (think Yammi and Nnoitra's Fraccion).
