Visoreds vs. Espada

One can't really generalise either of them as "stronger" than the other. It's plain wrong!
But if I were to select one opponent from each team and make them spar against each other in a one on one match, then something could be said

In Lisa vs Halibel, imo Halibel would be the winner but the fight that I really wish would have happened is vs They both are extremely strong but their ways of fighting are so different from each other, it would be an interesting match!

Seriously it a hard qstn,and it also depend on how long they can hold their mask,rember they were beating stark with their mask on,and even stark said it,that it kind of difficult to fight them with their mask on,then they told him not to worry that they only hold 4 weather 3mins,then d mask disappear,b4 the fight turn in favour to stark,so t depends,and not to mention that the vizard trained for a hundrend years,.

Some of the visoreds are very powerful like shinji , some others not . They couldn't beat harribel , they can't keep their masks for long period on . so i vote for the Espada

Hrm. It's really sad to admit this because I like Shinji, but all these crazy assumptions about his power level is making me want to see him get his butt kicked by a Quincy just to bring everything back into normal perameters.

Seriously, folk, Shinji is awesome. But we have no evidence that he is more or less powerful than any of his comrades, nor his power levels vis a vis the other captains. It's a really bad habit some folk have of jumping in and saying x character is super powerful just because that character has had more manga time so therefore has had more time to share skills.

There are still folk who flap about Ulquiorra and say he was the strongest Espada just because he had more manga fights than Stark, Halibel or Barrigan and so we got to see more of what he could do. That isn't really how it works though - and I'd personally like to see what Shinji and the other Vaizard can do without preconceptions of power.

actually i told like shinji , i mean all the captain visoreds are powerful enough , some of the visoreds are/were lieutenants and some captain , that's what i am saying

See, I'm under the impression that visoreds and Espada are alike so their general abilities are the same... though I don't think strength is something that is characteristically the same for everyone... it's like saying that all the shinigami have the same strength, which we know isn't true...

The point is, I think the Espada have attributes that make them like Shinigami while being Hollows, look at Neliel, certainly not a Espada-like behavior, more like Ichigo Vizard like behavior...

Again, the point comes down to the nature of the being, and what their strength is... that strength is determined by who they are, and not by the fact that they're a Vizard... people forget that most of the Vizard were strong Shinigami to begin with, not your regular run of the mill captains... They existed during what seemed like a time period where trauma existed much more outside than inside...

As for the Espada, we see the shift due to what may have been a change because of the Hogyoku... what extra strength came from that no one knows...

Either way, I can't say the lower sect of the Espada is culpable against the Vizards... shoot, I think Barragan would have a serious issue against Hacci...

But honestly, I don't think there is anyone who could take out Starrk... Yammy's overrated... Starrk is the only one I don't think they have enough reiatsu to deal with... they're gonna need at least 4 people to deal with him... lol...

Gotta say depends who you ask, you're both right, some people make him out to be fodder ignoring the fact he casually took Senbonzakura to the face, while I believe it was in bankai.

Others use his reiatsu as the argument as too why he is the best fighter of the espada.
