Mitsune was just slashing a hollow. Once it was gone, she put her sword back in her sheath and looked over he shoulder. She could have sworn she heard something. Keeping a few moments of silence, she heard Danjo's voice. Opening her eyes a bit wider, Mitsu listened to what he said. Sighing slightly, the vice captain folded her arms in front of her chest and spoke to a group of five citizens in a low voice, like someone could hear what she said. They were in danger and she couldn't stay there any longer. Mitsu had to meet the others in the center of the city and establish a plan to get rid of all those hollows, which in fact, was only one with the ability to multiply.

"Listen guys. It's obvious for you too it's not safe to walk on the street these days. My honest advice is to stay in groups and never let any of you alone. You're in a great risk. I'm called somewhere else right now so we can get this problem done, but keep in mind: do NOT go anywhere only by yourselves. Be at least two people." she said, before vanishing in a flash step and letting the people hide wherever they thought it was the best. The vice captain rushed through the city and eventually arrived in the center of it.

She was right behind Danjo. Her arms were still folded in front of her chest and her face was serious. She also saw a few more shinigami, but still not all of them were there. However, she spoke to them, especially to Danjo who could make a final decision regarding the mission.

"Danjo, i suggest to split in teams. One of us will search the source of all those hollows, while the others will defend the remaining people. The second group will basically try and keep the things in a decent order, so you can find the main hollow that provokes this disaster." Mitsune said, before she sat on a rock and waited for an answer,

Danjo leaned back and looked into the sky. The clouds were thinning and the sun was beginning to set below the horizon. "We're only working with about 2 and a half hours of time here." Danjo explained to his vice-captain. "It is good to see you unharmed. I agree with your assessment, we should split into two teams." Danjo placed his hand on his chin, then began to think up a strategy for certain victory with the time they had remaining.

Seeing only a select few standing before him, Danjo grit his teeth in frustration and wondered if the surrounding threat was far too much for them all to handle so quickly. "Considering how many seated officers we have, to recruits, we're going to go about things this way." He then placed his hand on Mitsu's shoulder and told her to find all the recruits and deal with hollow extermination and the safety of the people inside the city. "I will lead the remaining seated members deeper into the city and we will weed out the main hollow responsible and destroy it before it creates more copies of itself."

Danjo then walked over towards Akane and smiled at her. "Don't worry about a thing. Just keep a calm head and assess the situation carefully and you'll be able to get through anything. In the meantime, I'm going to send out another low-level telepathic message to Madara and Ender. I'm going to make damn well sure they hear me to." [screams] "Stop what you're doing this instant and join up with Akane and myself. We're going after much bigger game."

Danjo then turned to his vice-captain. "How does that sound?"

Ari noticed Madara and she jumped on the building on which he was currently. She pulled his arm, suggestion to follow her. She asked if Captain and Vice Captain were close but before he could reply she was on the move again. She jumped down from the building and right on the edge Madara turned towards the Hollows that were chasing Ari.

The 10th Seat removed the bandages that protected his right eye and tied them around his neck. Slowly his left eye opened and it released a small flash of green light as it booted up. Immediately targeting system was activated. Madara could see a crosaire in front of him, well actually two of them. Both of them locked it's target: Hollows at the far end, one to the right and other one to the left.

Both of Madara's index fingers aimed towards the locked targets "Adios muchachos. Hadou no Yon: Byakurai" two bolts of white lightning were shot from the index fingers and as they hit two Hollows in the group Madara simply made a step backwards and fell from the building. As he was falling with head towards the ground he made a flip in the air and unsheathed his zanpakutou in the air. He stabbed the zanpakutou in the wall to hopefully reduce the speed of free fall. It was hard but somehow Madara manged to hold the sword as it was running against the wall at high speed. He was holding a handle of his sword with his right arm, hanging there. The ground was maybe, 2 meters from him. It was safe to jump down. As he was trying about to take out his zanpakutou out of the building wall a screaming voice of his captain made him fall on his back with his zanpakutou in the right hand

"Ouch!" he exclaimed. Lying there he looked up and saw that the randevu place was. Leaning on his right arm as a support Madara got up and using shunpou got to the meeting place real quick.

"Sorry captain, your message reached my head too late. I took care of two Hollows that were chasing Ari, but the rest of them are still coming here. " he apologized and put his left hand on his left green artificial eye, not wanting anyone to see it or get scared.

Mitsune smiled at Danjo and nodded. Her plan could work and she was more than happy to keep the hollows away, while the others would find the guilty one for all the harm that was done to the city. Then she looked to Akane and gave her a confused look. She was carrying a little cirl on her shoulders but Mitsu could have sworn she heard something from the child. Probably she was scared and confused, though she heard the work 'momma'. "Poor kid..." Mitsu thought to herself, then turned to Mahavira.

"Oh, right in time." Mitsu said, then heard Akane saying there were some hollows at a couple of minutes distance from them. A frown appeared on the vice-captain's face as she heard and turned to Danjo and Akane, yelling.

"Guys, leave from here. Mahavira, stay with me, we'll kill some hollows in a few minutes hehehe... Danjo, Akane, if i see Madara and Ender, I'll point them their way to you. You have to start searching for the main hollow right now and you can't afford wasting your time with other hollows." the girl said, then smirked at Mahavira. Knowing him, he was going to be a great help. There were only a few hours left before the dawn, and it wasn't enough. All she had to do was to keep the clones away and defend the people who were in danger.

A rather evil laugh appeared on her lips. "Hehe~ Let's kill some hollows." she whispered to herself, then sent a telepatic message to all the other recruits who were in the living world. "Yo! Mitsu speaking. Recruits have free way to kill hollows. Don't let any other people die, and if your opponent is way too powerful, then run and request help. It's time for a game. Kill as many hollows as you can, and maybe you'll get a reward ne..." Mitsu said to the others, unsheathing her katana and getting ready for the battle already, ready as well to win the competition and kill the most hollows... just for fun. She looked over her shoulder before Danjo would leave and gave him a serious, and at the same time, a worried look.

"Danjo... be careful. I wish you all of luck."

Mahavira heard Danjo's command about Mitsune leading the recruits and gathering the lost people in the city. It was just about what Mahavira expected. At this early in his development he wasn't skilled enough to handle a Hollow with the powers they were dealing with. Right now, he couldn't afford to waste time, neither could the other members. They had a small window of opportunity to complete this mission. If there were indeed approximately 2500 civilians still alive, and they had two and a half hours to save them, the math worked out to be....... 16 civilians found a minute. That was a pretty hefty clip of people unless they were lucky enough to find some sort of large refugee camp.

Immediately Mahavira's mind raced with possibilities and spoke directly to Mitsune, hoping the others would overhear:

"If our mission is to collect the civilians and defeat hollows on the way, there are some immediate safe-areas I can think of., especially considering the attack has been going on for a week. There are three possibilities I can think of for three different reasons.

The first, for anybody to survive this long, they need food. Therefore if we can locate some large supermarkets, that would be a good place to start.

The second, to survive this long they would need supplies, and they need to get creative with their tactics. Therefore any sort of shopping center or mall would be ideal for them to stock themselves with weapons and equipment.

Third would be any spot with a geographical advantage. I don't know if there are any lakes nearby, or ponds, or islands. But if there is an island nearby, or houses on a large hill, I would look in one of those areas as well. The sewer system might be a creative spot as well, considering the darkness and many places to hide.

I know that's a lot of ground to cover, but if we're going to save as many people as possible we need to try and find a spot that would be housing as many people as possible. It would be inefficient to go through all this wreckage and try to find survivors one by one. Even if some of those survivors are young children like that poor girl hugging Akane. Especially since finding them is only part of the battle, protecting them is the other half. It will be hard to look for massive groups of people if we constantly have stragglers falling behind or if we need to pre-occupy ourselves helping just a small handful or people."

Mahavira knew that was the correct strategy to go through, even if it sounded somewhat cold-hearted. This was brutal warfare they were participating in though, and hard, calculated, decisions would be necessary in order to achieve the highest modicum of success.

Daemon waited for a few minutes, but no-one showed, so he decided to go in search of his fellows. But a city was a big place, and there wasn't much time to go looking around. He decided the best place to search for people was from the roofs of the buildings. As he was about to jump up however, he saw something move, and sure enough, seconds later, a hollow emerged from the shadows. A hideous creature, with six legs, and a horizontal body, it resembled an insect. Daemon figured he could prob defeat the creature comfortably, but he was still alone, so he had no choice but to retreat. Looking at the body, he figured that the hollow would have difficulty climbing vertical surfaces, so he decided to go and do what he was originally going to do. However, at that point, he heard a voice inside his head and realised that Mitsu was giving him orders telepathically. After hearing that orders, Daemon smiled *Well that's gonna make things a bit easier, thanks* he thought back, and started to un-sheath his zanpakutou. "Unfortunately for you, that means you don't get to live as long" He then said to the hollow as he finished drawing his sword and slashing at the ground. The creature seemed to get the message, as it started to attack, lunging with his right arm(?) at the recruit. Rolling to the right, Daemon then charged at it, jumped to dodge it's left arm, then came down on the creature with both hands in a downwards strike through it's head, cleanly bisecting it in two.
As it dissolved, he sheathed his sword again, and heard another voice in his head, this one from someone he'd seen before but didn't quite know.
*So in other words, we go find ourselves a shopping centre, and we're likely to find most of the survivors, is that right?* The recruit thought in response *If so, do we team up, or are we going solo to cover more ground?* He finished, and waited for a response before setting out.

*He stopped for a second, knowing he had become hopelessly lost. The temperature seemed awfully hot to him and this was a long way from the bars of the Gotei. He stopped a second and became a little despondent. There was nobody to rescue, but the sounds of fighting was everywhere around, maybe he should just march to the sound of the guns, but he would of little use in a fight. He thought maybe it was better to round up survivors and get out before anything bad happened. Suddenly he felt his surrounding change, he looked back to see a shingami heading his way. He gave smile and wondered who the fellow straggler was.*

Sensing the spiritual pressure of a little girl, the captain of the 1st glanced towards his 7th seat and heaved a sigh. "Regarding that small child's parents. Do you think they could still be alive from where you found her Akane?" Danjo lowered his shoulders as he thought about what to do. Hollow were quick to sense their arrival and were already on the offensive, as well as defensive as they scoured the ruins of the city for even more souls to ingest.

They climbed through broken windows and abandoned vehicles. Through sewer grates and derelict stores. Dripping from their teeth with tattered clothes caught between their fangs and claws. Reeking of souls they had just eaten as they centered on the shinigami in the center of the city. "She's your responsibility, Akane. I hope you are able to fight them off while tending to that little girl." Danjo then flexed his reiatsu and filtered his potent spiritual pressure into the area hoping to suppress several of the hollow. It worked, but only for a little while. "Madara, I'm going to need you and Ender to follow me through the horde to a certain building. I am detecting a large number of souls somewhere to the East."

"Our target is somewhere in that area. Move out!"

Sasuke was running on the roof of a building when suddenly he felt something. His right hand was holding the girl's wrist as he ran on the roof but as soon as he felt something, he stopped in his tracks. Moments later, he heard the vice captain Mitsu's telepathic message. Hearing it, he sighed and stopped at the top of the roof, looking around. It seemed that he was in the heart of the city for immediately as he had stopped, three hollows had surrounded him. After the telepathic message had ended, Sasuke looked at the scared girl. It was going to be very difficult. Sasuke took out both his katanas and stabbed them on the roof before picking up the girl and suspending her on his shoulder so that she could hold onto him while he moved. The girl was shivering with fear which made Sasuke angry at the hollows. He then looked around at the three hollows which had gathered around him.

"How troublesome. "

All three of the hollows came at Sasuke at top speed. They had furry pale grey skin with red menacing eyes. They raised their right arms up, each of them trying to kill and eat the plus soul and the shinigami. One of them raised its hand up to pound Sasuke with it, the other had its hand open, trying to sweep it to send Sasuke flying away while the third one had its hand open, aiming to catch Sasuke. Being quite a lazy shinigami, Sasuke slowly looked around him and then at the hollow coming at him with its fist raised up. As the hollows got closer and closer, he bent down and waited for the right moment.

"Hey girl, keep your grip tight. "

The girl mumbled a reply but Sasuke was too busy to listen to it. He jumped up towards the fist that was coming towards him while the other two hollows' hands met nothing but thin air. He changed his position in mid air so that his legs faced upwards, the direction from where the hollow's fist was coming while his head facing the roof. Sasuke's legs came in contact with the hollow's right hand's fingers, the outer part of the fist and he bent his knees a little before jumping towards a hollow which was to his left.

The hollow raised its left hand to smack Sasuke away but the young shinigami however rotated in mid-air and slashed the hollow's hand with his katana before reaching the hollow's mask and shattering it with a powerful sword strike. The hollow started disappearing as Sasuke landed on the ground and looked at the two hollows left. He sighed again.

"Oi oi, is there a party here that you all have turned up ? "

Sasuke waited for the hollows to attack. He knew that if he attacked, it would get difficult for him to look after the girl on his back because he would just get too taken away by his attack's concentration level. However, seeing that the hollows were usually a bunch of idiots which had power, it would be best to wait for their attack and look for the openings.

Soon enough, a hollow dashed towards Sasuke and brought down his fist to pound him. Sasuke quickly took a couple of steps forwards towards the hollow to dodge the attack and also to come closer to the hollow so that it would be easier to kill it. However at that moment, the hollow kicked at Sasuke. Sasuke, who didn't see it coming moved at the last moment, only to get the kick at the right side of his stomach. Despite the slight pain, he continued with his attack and jumped on the hollow's legs before jumping up again and attempting a slash at the hollow's mask. The slash met the mask and the hollow disappeared. As it was disappearing, Sasuke landed on the ground and pointed at the disappearing hollow.

"You were one scary dude. "

Sasuke then looked at the third hollow. This time he was going to attack for there did not seem to be any other hollow to attack at his back. He dashed forwards towards the hollow which attempted a straight punch at him. Sasuke simply jumped and ran the whole length of its arm before jumping to his right and slashing with both his katana, killing the hollow. Now standing on the same roof, he thought in answer to Mitsu.

The running part might be useful. Oh and a game. Sounds fun. My count is 5.

~A senkaimon opened and from Valir rushed forth into the city only to stop suddenly. His breath was taken from him by the sight for the ruined city was almost an exact duplicate of his own spiritual world. Regaining his head he berated himself for getting side tracked and took off running in the direction of a few powerful sources whom he assumed to be his commanding officers. He stopped all of sudden sensing a group of humans nearby and changed his course rushing to their aid as quickly as possible. Arriving at the scene just in time as a small group of five humans were about to be attacked by a hollow replicate.~

"Tch coward has to attack those weaker than it. Crap like that really pisses me off!!"~Valir muttered to him self shaking with anger. He pulled his blade from its sheath in a fluid motion, then with the utmost of speed he shunpoed behind the hollow and delivered a fierce downward slash tearing through the creature and rendering it in two. Satisfied that the humans were safe he headed back in the direction of his captain, though he his anger was far from subsided. After sever minutes of sprinting through the ruins he finally arrived at his destination. Upon seeing his captain he waved to him to signal his presence.~

"Konnichiwa Danjo-taicho! I apologize for my lateness. What are my orders?"~Valir looked to his captain expectantly awaiting for the command that would allow him to slate his hunger and kill more hollow.~

Akane started to clam herself as the captain told her she figured that now that she was in a group worrying about the hollows shouldn't be a thing for her. She gathered all the necessary information and geared herself up to prepare for certain battle. She watched as Mitsune go ready to destroy the on coming hollows a sight she would love to see judging from all the trouble they had caused her.

Just then she turned back to the captain. "Her parents?" She said as she looked at the girl "Sorry sir, so much was happening all at once that I couldn't focus to sense if there were any more traces of reiatsu coming from the area." She checked the straps on her book bag, they seemed to be greatly supporting the girl but with how hard she was clinging Akane was sure she would be fine. "Don't worry I got her she's light weight. " She winked and readied herself for departure to fine the hollow responsible for all this insane destruction.
